  1. I just discovered this too. It's great that low buffers work well. It becomes a problem when they aren't enough, because there's nowhere to go after that. I often get 100% spikes on one core even though the project plays at 50% average.
  2. Ok, thanks. No tracks solo-safe, track stacks are involved. Is it a feature since track stacks maybe? I just remember being able to choose any tracks and soloing/muting them together. Now it's hit or miss and I can't see the pattern.
  3. Has something changed with muting? I can't select any two (or more) tracks and mute/solo them together. Some work, some don't. I can't remember having this problem before?
  4. I did find one thing. I had Processing Threads set to 10, in stead of Auto. Setting it back to Automatic has reduced the random noises. But since they still occur it must be a combination of things. It could be a clocking thing but who knows.
  5. That would be great, but disconnecting the hub did not fix it. Yesterday I found out that some of the noises are ending up in the tracks, not just during playback.
  6. I haven't been able to find any culprit for the odd noises among my usb connections. It feels more like the screeches, stutters and clicks are connected to some kind of hard drive read issue, but using different drives, internal vs. external doesn't seem to make a difference.
  7. Yep, it's a slow and boring process but I suppose the only way. Usually nothing actually fails, it's just the little glitches and random noises. I'll have to check out other hubs too then. Thanks
  8. I wouldn't know where to begin, I have so much connected. All the ports full and a 16 input rack mount USB hub. And I need pretty much everything. All worked fine on the Mini. My monitor controller remote and software isn't working at all, so I can't turn my sub on and off. Been through the full Antelope remote service procedure. The main interface that I use while tracking and mixing is on thunderbolt.
  9. Ok, thanks. The problem is I can't really do what I do to test it through the inbuilt audio, but I can try just messing around, opening projects and playing them and seeing if something happens.
  10. Through my monitoring. The only sound from the Mac is the constant hum of the fan. Sorry I'm not following you, I have Core Audio enabled and am tracking and monitoring through an interface as I've always done before. Do you mean monitoring with System Setting? Then I can't record or use any I/O.
  11. Is anyone else experiencing all kinds of pops, crackles and weird clocking error-like screeches running Logic on an 64Gb M1 Mac Studio? The only thing better compared to my old maxed out Mac Mini is the latency, being able to record and monitor and even mix at 64 sample buffer size. Everything else has been unstable, even with only silicon certified plugins. Lots of crashes but most annoyingly all these strange noises, like the clicks when starting playback. It's also spiking my hard drives, no matter if it's external or internal. That internal drive is crazily fast on Blackmagic speed test, but still spiking all the time. Funnily my external drives were faster on the 2018 Mac Mini.
  12. I'm on Ventura and have the same issue. All plugin latency shows as x amount samples and 0 seconds. Annoying. The samples also do not change when changing for example a lookahead time.
  13. I'd be happy with just simple click and drag slip editing with no need to close gaps.
  14. Well, that was easy, but I wonder why they are hidden in the first place?
  15. Has there been an update on this? I'm on 10.7.5 and every single marker on kick is in the middle of the transient. Getting crazy pops and flams. It's a pain and makes me skip the whole thing most of the time.
