  1. I’m wondering if I should purchasing a 5 pin midi cable and connect it directly to my audio interface versus using the usb to Mac option. Maybe this is causing issues in itself. Where if I’m connecting both midi and audio into the interface from the Motif, the interface would have better control and the Mac would only be the master requesting the info from the Interface. What do u think about this?
  2. I sequenced a track in my motif XS now I’m trying to bring the sequence track over to logic Pro X. I have a Connected USB from Motif to Mac for Midi and I have two TRS cables from the motif to my audio interface. I have the settings correct based off of previous recommendation enabling a external instrument with the midi destination being my motif XS port one midi channel 1 for the first Track then I switch to midi channel 2 for the next track but then I start hearing the first track doubling in the second track even if I mute all other tracks in logic Pro X like the first track is bleeding into the second track which makes no sense. Please help
  3. My intentions were to have the option to use the knobs and faders as well since at the moment the Console 1 can’t control the DAW faders and knobs, the console 1 can only control the Console 1 software within the DAW. That’s why it was a preference to have the option to use them on the Motif.
  4. I have some tracks that I created inside my yamaha motif and need to extract them to place them inside Logic Pro X so I can complete them. I have the Yamaha connect via USB to my Mac and Connected with TRS cables into my Focusrite interface
  5. I would love to be able to use all of my control Devices and all the faders and knobs when I’m using the device.
  6. Please explain because per some other videos when I’m using my keyboard for playing piano and for it’s internal sounds it should be listed as output port Yamaha motif port 2 and input port as Yamaha motif port 2
  7. I’m using it for a surface for playing keys mostly but I’m also using it as a software instrument for some of the sounds. But I have the Softube Console 1 ecosystem now with the Console 1 and Fader, also the M-Audio trigger finger pro.
  8. When connecting new controllers is it recommended to wipe the controllers clean in logic pro and start off fresh because I’m having issues with my Yamaha Motif closing windows when I press the keys to play music.
