Aha, bingo! Looks like I had accidentally added some automation points on the volume. Thanks, David! Problem solved.

I think the Automation may be the issue as I am using the Waves Vocal Ride plugin on my lead vocals. Didn't realize it would effect the use of the fader. Noob mistake. Thanks y'all.

This is most likely a dumb question: I'm trying to do some level setting in my mix. When I stop playback after setting the channel fader to a level I like, the fader automatically resets to 0db. What gives? I've never seen this happen before.

Nope, didn’t use a strip setting. I went through with each plug-in separately and did the EQ, Compression & limiter work individually. Most of these tracks are a. Accordion that was recorded somewhat piecemeal (right hand first, the left hand) because two mics weren’t available. So, really just two instruments that have the plugins. Generally speaking, should I just avoid using any limiters? I saw got that from a few tutorials on YouTube, but if it is more hurt that help I’m happy to avoid it all together.

What Channel Strip Presets? Sorry to be dense, but I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to.

Hello there, I've been using Logic Pro X for years now and have just encountered a latency problem. Last week I put down all instrumental tracks with no latency issues. Now, I am having latency issues both while through the Focusrite interface (which I've always had a little of) and through my built-in output (which I have NEVER had a problem with). While recording vocals, everything sounds good and in sync with metronome and guitar track. Then when I go to playback the vocals have a slight delay that just won't do. I have included a screenshot of the device settings and you'll find my system down in my signature. Any help you can give would be very much appreciated as my project is completely stalled until I figure this out. I'd also love to not have to start over from scratch. Thanks in advance!
