  1. Thanks! It still was muted but for some reason Logic thought it wasnt until I activated and deactivated the video window..
  2. Thats right, but usually the Video imports an audio track to my timeline which can be muted. Is there another audio from the video?
  3. Its very stange.. The audio track that played although muted came from an imported video file, because I had to record a voiceover. I deleted the track and it still played even there was no audio at all on the timeline. Then I selected "view -> show movie window" and audio was gone.. Now it seems to work as usual.
  4. Software monitoring and Plugins are gone now. Still the same.. I deleted the Aggregate Device with my Scarlett 2i2 and two blackhole drivers which wasnt activated here. Its still the same if I set my Scarlett 2i2 as default input and output mac system device and default logic device. But when I set my mac output to my external Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle and my Logic device to Scarlett 2i2 it seems to work. But I dont always have the bm connected..
  5. Thanks for your help triplets. Here you are. I disabled all effects, turned all Inputs off and set all Outputs to ST Out. Still the same. I can hear Audio from all tracks although I can see no levels.
  6. I created an aggregate device to record a voiceover. But suddenly I can only her ALL tracks. I am not able to mute, solo or switch a track off. I switched my audio device to the internal soundcard or my scarlett 2i2, but its the same. Audio plays from all tracks. I am not sure but I guess it started when I returned to FCPX and connected my breakout box blackmagic intensity shuttle. It has a direct audio output as well. When I returned to Logic, the problems started. So I disconnected it and restarted my MBP, still the same. I turned all other tracks off and set them to mute and set one track to solo. Still I hear all tracks. Whats going on?
  7. Unfortunately after every restarty of logic you have to repeat those steps and randomly during the recording session MTC output stops. Does anyone have a solution?
  8. Thanks a lot! It seems to be a bug in Logic. When you add the controller first and then MTC Logic cannot send MTC through the same virtual channel, when you uninstall and reinstall the controller after MTC activated it works.
  9. I am trying to record a remotesession with a professional speaker in Logic. I am using Session Link Pro Dubbing, it can record an audio backup with Timecode in the browser of the speaker. Therefore I have to send record information and the MTC Midi Time Code the speaker. I can control recording via a virtual midicontroller "recording light" which sends the output to the virtual IAC-driver on the mac, which sends it to sessionlink. But I am not able to transmit the MTC signal, the timecode stays at 00:00:00:00 MTC with 0fps in hiis browser window. Without timecode there will be a huge chaos if I try to reimport those audiofiles. I have activated the IAC Driver in Audio Midi Settings of my mac and have activated "Midi Time Code". In Logic i turned the IAC Driver Input of, because I just want to send Midi data, and do not want to receive it. And the Recording Light Controller is activated, so I am already able to trigger recording remotely without timecode information. What am I doing wrong? Is there any tool for my mac that is able to read the MTC timecode from the IAC driver so I can see if the problem is a setting in logic or the driver or if its a problem with sessionlink? Thanks a lot for your help! Below are some screenshots.
  10. I am editing a podcast with multiple speakers an multiple tracks and I have to edit a lot of big chuncs of the episode. So I am using a skip cycle in the cycle area to listen what i am editing out and then I delete the skipped part with a shortcut (ctrl cmd x).. But I have to define the start position of playback manually every time by clicking with the mouse a few seconds before the start of the skip cycle. Is there a shortcut to atomatically start playback a few seconds before the skip cycle and stop a few seconds after the skip cycle??
