  1. It is a project-wide thing - it affects every region in every track, whether instrument or plug-in etc. Its as if I had accidentally toggled something. I have now copied the whole thing into a new project and all is good....but I am intrigued to know why that happened.
  2. Ok, have bounced a drum and a bass region in place. Now the resize tracker won't even drag these bip regions....
  3. Thanks for the swift response.....I not sure what you mean by the source: my project has several tracks and I cannot lengthen any of the regions on these tracks by dragging the resize pointer - it will drag, but then snaps back. How do I bounce in place? I don't see this command anywhere...
  4. This problem appeared suddenly.....I can drag the region to lengthen it, but as soon as I let go, it snaps back! I have obviously toggled something by mistake, but cannot find a way to change it. Problem confined to just one project. Thanks.
  5. Found it! It's the link icon I toggled off by mistake. Nick
  6. I must have activated something.....suddenly, the Piano Roll window does not recognize any selected regions; it claims No region selected, but the Inspector recognizes the selected region. The region shows as selected in the main window, ie, white band opens behind region title. It is the same for all software tracks in the file. I opened a previous file, and all worked fine! What Have I pushed on? Thanks Nick

Thanks! I can now go on to figure out what it all means and how to use it. Nick

    AUDIO FX

After a year of GarageBand, I took the plunge and installed Logic Pro. I cannot find any effects on the Track Inspector! I click on a bus number, but nothing in the aux channel shows up, no Audio FX or any other effects. Am I doing something wrong? Thaks for any help. Attached is a screenshot of of the track inspector on a test audio file
