  1. Nope, there's no discrepancy between the two lists.
  2. No, I hadn't used presets before in that project. Seems to have just been a fluke, though. Experimenting on other projects, new transform presets were automatically named beginning with 1, and I am able to get them to work with key commands. But if I delete a preset, it gets removed from the list and the next presets don't get moved down in the order, so you can easily lose track of which preset is triggered with which key command. And after you've renamed them, there doesn't seem to be a way to tell which preset is referenced by which number. So I guess I just have to remember if I delete presets. Like, if I delete preset 3 then the third one on the list is actually preset 4 ...
  3. Hello, I'm having some trouble getting the "select and operate using transform user preset #" commands to work. First of all, there doesn't seem to be a way to see which user preset corresponds with which number. You'd think they go in order down the list starting with one, but they don't. The first transform set I made in a project was automatically named "New Parameter Set 5," and through trial and error I was only able to get it to work with the key command for user preset 4. I'd think, since it's the first one I made, it'd be triggered with the command for preset 1. Any insights?

    Modifier Latency

I know the script isn't changing what Modifier is doing. Getting Modifier to work more smoothly was just the logical next step for me. The reason legato starts sounding jumpy is because there's no break in between the notes during which that parameter can be changed inaudibly. The script works perfectly when there's a short break in between notes. But with velocity being used as the input event, legato playing involving multiple notes of different velocities makes the parameter jump around audibly. I'm using it for things like filter cutoff. Do you know if there's a way to smooth the Modifier's output out over a few milliseconds?

    Modifier Latency

Thanks Dewdman42! That works perfectly. Well, unless I play legato. Then it can start sounding jumpy again. Is there a way to make the Modifier's parameter change more like a ramp than a square? That way it will happen over the course of several ms instead of suddenly.

    Modifier Latency

Thanks for the reply. I don't think that would work, though. I want to delay the note on getting to the VI. I don't want to delay the Modifier. Plus, I think Modifier and the plugin it's modulating need to be on the same track.

    Modifier Latency

When using modifier with velocity as the input event, I've noticed that the note on event reaches whichever synth I'm using before the parameter being modulated by Modifier is changed. So the parameter change is audible right at the start of each note. If the synth has a DAHDSR, I can just add some delay. But a lot of synth don't have these. So I'm wondering if there's a way to tackle this within Logic. Maybe a way to delay the note on reaching the synth so the parameter has time to be changed? Thanks!
  8. Thanks for your reply. I just checked, and no, Learn isn't turned on. Looking in the manual, I saw in the controller assignments are stored in Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs So I'm thinking I could delete that and start fresh. Deleting it shouldn't affect anything else though right?
  9. Hello, I recently made a couple controller assignments and, when I opened up the assignment list a few days later, I noticed a dozen or so duplicates. So I deleted them. Next time I looked at the list they had duplicated again and the zone they were in had also duplicated several times. Hoping it would just stop being an issue, I just deleted them again (except the zones, I'm not sure how to delete those). Now I opened up the assignment list again today and there's at least a hundred zones, each one with dozens of duplicates of the original two assignments I made. I don't know what the deal is. It's not like I'm sitting here pressing Command-L all day. Any idea what's going on? And is there a way to delete zones? Simply hitting the delete key doesn't work like it does with the controller assignments themselves.
