Hi all, this is my first post. I've searched for this same issue but haven't found a solution yet...I'm working with a mix engineer Juan, and asked him to share a Logic Project back to me via Dropbox so that I can tweak the project further, but it seems the file is becoming corrupted somewhere in this process. When I try to launch the project file, Logic crashes before anything opens. I don't really know how to read crash logs but it seems that Thread 0 is causing issues. A few related notes: My original project (before engineer did his thing and sent back to me) still opens without issue, so it seems it is not a system wide issue, but rather an issue with the specific project file coming from Juan. The project with Juan's changes continues to open on Juan's machine without issue, but crashes on mine. We are using Dropbox to share projects back and forth. To share the originals with Juan, I saved my project (organized as package), then zipped, then uploaded zip to Dropbox. Juan followed same steps to share updated project back to me. Juan used about 8 external plug-ins that he always uses, but that hasn’t caused this type of issue with his other clients. I installed each of these plugins on my system, but to be fair I have never used them or validated that they are working properly. Would the cause be related to plugins? I'm hoping maybe the answer is embedded in the crash log somewhere. Please let me know of any suggestions, thank you!
