That actually crossed my mind. But how do I fix it?

Hi, I've run into an issue where the sustain pedal stays on even if when I manually release it. It take another push to release. Logic Pro 10.6.1 OS X Catalina. Yamaha YDP-144. Has anyone had this issue before? Thanks!
