  1. Hi David, Thank you for the quick and thoughtful reply! I ended up doing two other things that seem to have fixed the problem (or at least covered it up): - "Calibration" via Komplete Kontrol - Setting a floor of 5 (instead of 0) for the pedal, also in KK I did take a look in the Control Surfaces stuff in LPX and didn't happen to see any mention of the Roland DP-10 or "pedal" specifically, but it's possible I missed it. And I was reluctant to disable all control surfaces, since I really value leveraging the transport and other controls on my S88. Anyway, thank you again! Grateful for you and this helpful community as I am just starting out with LPX (and this Mac Mini is the first Mac I've ever bought in my life, so there's a lot of learning curve stuff goin' on!)
  2. SUMMARY: My Roland DP-10 pedal causes nutso behavior in Logic (like moving the playhead, stretching notes in the editor, etc.). Help! I recently moved over to Logic from Studio One, and one thing that's been confounding me is the interactions between my Roland DP-10 pedal and Logic . I have the pedal switch set to "Continuous" since that's what Native Instruments tells me to do. And everything works when I use other DAWs or just play stuff within Komplete Kontrol. But when I use my Native Instruments S88 keyboard + the pedal, I get unpredictable and sometimes horrible issues with Logic. Today, for instance, it was like there was a ghost wreaking havoc when I was editing notes (stretching them to infinity), the playhead would move forward at random times, and so on. All the craziness ceased when I disconnected the pedal. Any idea what's goin' on and how I can fix this? Thanks!
  3. Make sure you're running Logic in Rosetta mode. At least that's what I had to do to get Logic to recognize my S88 keyboard. When I change Logic back to native mode, my keyboard is still sorta recognized and transport controls work, but the S88 browser gets stuck on the first instrument it sees in a track and can't be changed .
