  1. Hi I have a sample pack that was given to me of basic drum patterns, with the BPM however no key info at all. I was wondering if there is a way to check any meta description in Logic for the file. Im thinking it might have some info on what the key it was played in. I have tried Tuner in Logic but it does not give a definitive key, it's not your typical drum pattern either, it's a middle eastern fusion. Any help is appreciated Thanks
  2. Yeah the save file dialog, not sure why i called it the explorer. So i opened it in rosetta the plugins worked fine and switched back to normal and now plugins and save dialog works as normal - really strange
  3. Sorry, I don't know what an "explorer window" is. So you're saying your mouse control *does* work correctly under Rosetta? It shouldn't make a difference. I mean when you go to bounce a file or save the project, the window that pops up which allows you to pick which folder to save your files to. That window is the one which still does not work for me. I can save a project by hitting the enter key on my keyboard but if i go to click on the save button using my mouse or navigate to another folder it won't let me - in rosetta / normal settings
  4. So i opened using rosetta and the plugins seem to work but i still cannot navigate through the explorer window. Strange why the plug ins used to work before but now none of them do in the normal Logic setting If i have a file that i've made using the normal Logic set up and then switch to rosetta and continue working, will that mess up any of the files/loops i've got / created using those plug ins? I think if so i could always bounce them down - just really strange why its not working now
  5. Hi all, Recently when i load logic pro i cannot load any plug ins, Nexus, Massive, AK. They open but i cannot select anything, any presets, controls etc. When i try to save a project, it also does not let me change the location, it is as though the mouse is not connected. I can still hit the enter key and it then saves / bounces tracks out but i am not sure why the clicks are not working. I have updated to the latest Logic Pro software and i am on Mac Mini M1, with latest OS software Any advice on what else i can do - I have a few deadlines for some singers that need completing but not sure how i can continue editing if the clicks are not registering. PS - I am using the optimised version of Logic too as most plugins have been configured for the M1 chip, so i'm not sure why all of them are not working
  6. Yes lesson definitely learned. Will not be doing that in the future lol. I think im going to probably take a few weeks break before i start working on that particular track again. Luckily i did bounce the track before so i kind of have a rough idea of the types of sounds i used but it's going to be a pain putting the pieces back together. Thanks for replying though
  7. Yes i had two maybe even 3 projects open which was my fault. Did not know about the import method though will try that out next time. But i guess for now there is no way to get my sounds back without selecting them again though right?
  8. no back up im afraid. So had some percussion done, the guy sent it ina. logic file, i simply copied and pasted it over. I did this with the main track but some of the intro bits i missed. When I copied that over, i selected the first option and it just changed everything. It is normally fine, unless this was a different message and i just assumed it was the same pop-up box appearing. I can manually go in each file and select the plug-in again i guess - there are some that i have no clue as the names are just instrument 1,2,3 etc. But just was hoping there was a way I could revert it / change it back so i wouldn't need to manually do it
  9. Hey guys, So I imported a percussion track and selected the first option - 'Use the selected and following tracks even if the track object types do not match' as i had already imported similar percussion files before - missed out one piece. However once i did that all the sounds apart from vocals and percussion messed up, the kicks now sound like piano sounds etc. Unfortunately i was looking at another part of the file - the percussion and saved the file already - can't revert. Is there anyway i can undo the mess or do i have to just import all the sounds and midis again from scratch Thanks in advance
