  1. Is there a way to make an imported sample follow a tempo change? I have my tempo change set from 128 to 155. I can get the imported sample to match the 128 tempo but when I try to add a curve in the tempo change, the sample doesn't follow it.
  2. So I got it to work. Mostly just cutting and moving the track manually and just using flex time for very small adjustments. The areas where I did adjust it changed the sound of the scream slightly, almost like it was trying to adjust the length of the audio without the speed, but you can only hear it when soloing that track. It's not perfect but works. Not sure if something like vocalign would be better for adjusting screams more in depth if the performance isn't spot on.
  3. To some extent but only if I need to adjust them very slightly. If I move a word over by even a quarter note, it starts to sound choppy on the part I moved.
  4. Hi, I'm trying to align some screamed vocals for a track I'm working on and am having trouble getting them to line up correctly. With regular vocals I can normally align them easily with flex pitch but since screamed vocals don't work with flex pitch, only flex time, I keep having them get chopped up and can't seem to move them around. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Lol that's a great idea!! Just an update. Everything randomly started working just now. Thanks for all the ideas. I still don't know what was causing the problem but am thankful it's gone, hopefully for good. I will definitely be backing up for future updates.

  7. I'm going to be honest in that I didn't have a back up set up yet. Just recently bought the computer and was dumb in not focusing on that first. Trust me, I'll be setting one up from now on. I have the Mac mini, 16 gigs of ram, m1 chip, running Big Sur 11.2.3. I'm using a presonus 24c interface. I tried changing to internal audio with no luck just now. I'll look into resetting the nvram. Thanks for some extra ideas. I can open a new project and it lets me save and reopen using superior drummer 3 and brainworx plugins like I had in these others projects. It's like the update just messed something up in a few of the project files so that they won't open unless the audio driver is turned off. But once I open them and turn back on the audio driver, it'll only let me use everything except the 3rd party plugins.
  8. No, I don’t have time machine set up. Thankfully only a few projects are messed up. I will make sure to set up and follow the things listed in the future to prevent this from happening. I did remove all the plugins and save a new version. It still wouldn’t load. If anyone has any fixes please let me know. For now I’ll try and recreate them.
  9. I will thanks. I know 2 of them do. I have another file without the brainworx plugins on it that I’ll try opening after work and will let you know.
  10. Unfortunately no Im wondering if there’s anyway to fix this issue. So far it seems to let me create new projects. It’s just the old ones that won’t open.
  11. I just installed Logic 10.6.2 and now none of my projects will open. The load bar will fill up and then it will just stay there. I already tried reinstalling logic. I disabled the core audio after reading about it on another forum and it let me open the project but when I enable the core audio it does it again. I want to mention if I enable the core audio with the project already open it will stay open but my plugins like superior drummer and Kontakt won't work even though they are loaded in the plugin manager.
  12. I'm having an issue where my entire mix has -6db of headroom which is what I want for mastering but when I bounce the mix to a single track then open it in the new session for mastering there is now only -0.3 db of headroom. How do I prevent this from happening?
  13. I’m using superior drummer 3 set to multiout in logic so as to uses logic’s effects for the individual drums. I use the piano roll/sequencer built into superior drummer because it is better for writing drum parts than the one that comes with logic. The problem is that when I export the song, there are no drums when I play the exported file. I previously used cakewalk and it would allow the audio that was created using the piano roll in superior to export with the rest of the tracks in logic. Is this feature not available in logic? P.s. I don’t want to have to export the drums using superior drummers bounce function, then import them back into logic logic as audio files
