It turns out my MacBook was due for a software update and once I did that and restarted it the problem went away. I'm back in business. Thank you everybody for your input and support.

No. The plugged in instrument (this time a Yamaha keyboard) does not register on the Logic's meters. The signal does register on the input level on the Pre Sonus 1810.

The guitar signal is registering on the Pre Sonus 1810 and the other tracks the song play through the headphones. I've had this set-up for almost 3 years and this hasn't happened before. I've walked through the Input # and other things but the instrument track will not record.
