  1. ok i see how that would break the CC, it worked in my video, but once i edit it in the piano roll, i won't be able to channelize the CC as i want, i get the issue now.
  2. made a video to show the behaviour, as you can see the notes and CCs are recorded as channel 1 but based on the articulations id they will go to the desired channel in kontakt (channel 2 for the last 6 notes)
  3. what if you keep everything on channel 1 but set the output channel per articulation in the output tab of the articulation sets editor. this way the CC follow whatever channel is coming from the currently selected articulation id channel, but all notes and CCs are recorded on same channel 1, it's just the playback that gets channelized to the right place through the articulation id. seems to work here
  4. he is selecting all regions and updating the names and colors of the regions to match the respective tracks with key commands, he is also saying "fixing the colors and names" while doing that
  5. Your midi remote button is off by the way, not sure if that changes anything in your particular case
  6. did you check your controller assignment panel in logic? maybe you have mistakenly assigned the space bar to trigger cc58 with zero value
  7. Setting the channel in the output section of the articulation maps setup window to anything other than one, makes it work. Why I have no idea, but at least now I can use Program Changes 😅
  8. On the first track that uses program changes for the articulation map outputs, if you try to set the active articulation and play live from the keyboard, the player will not change to the active articulation. If you do the same on the second track where i use notes instead of program changes in the output section of the articulation map, it correctly changes the articulation. If you press play both tracks will trigger the correct articulations, so embedded art id on the notes work as expected. Using VSL BBO Free instrument as a test, but same result using Opus, so i don't think it's a player issue Arts.zip test_pc.logicx.zip
  9. Wanted to make use of Program Changes using VSL Synchron Player. If i assign the articulation ID to the notes in piano roll, they play back correctly. But i change the active articulation and play the notes live from the keyboard, the articulation doesn't reflect the change in the player. If i then swap the program changes with notes instead in the output section of the articulation map, then the player correctly reflects the change of the active articulation. Wonder if it is a bug?
  10. this is the most annoying thing in Logic for me, really wish they changed it to be like any other software
  11. Nice! Have you tried with the instrument window open instead of piano roll? that should show the current articulation as well
  12. Right, that was my point, to not use the articulation id for cc curves but just for notes (so not in the articulation tab but the output tab). I am failing to see the design flaw in Logic as this is working as i expect, it works fine with Opus with different articulations loaded into different midi channels. So I would assume Musio should work too. EDIT: nevermind, it does glitch right before the articulation change, i see how your script will fix that now
  13. Sorry if I am misunderstanding this, but the way i would do this is to set the channel of the articulations in the "output" tab of the articulation maps editor (3rd tab, not the 2nd tab called "articulations"). That way the notes and cc curves are all gonna be recorded on channel 1, but as they play the curves will affect all channels while the notes (which have articulation IDs attached) will be channelized to the appropriate instrument. At least that's how it works with Opus, i don't have Musio. If you instead set the channel on the articulation tab rather than the output tab you will have the issue you were having, where the cc curves will split into the different articulations channels
  14. no, it works the same in 10.7.9 but i don't understand what you are trying to do with the channels usually your midi keyboard will transmit on channel 1 (unless you changed that on your midi controller), if you keep all your tracks set to midi channel "all" and have them all with the R clicked you should receive the notes from the midi keyboard on all the record armed tracks no matter what track you are selecting. if you want to record on all tracks at the same time but having each track recording the notes on a different channel for each track you can use an articulation map set to the desired channel per track. Because if you move the midi input channel on the track from "All" to a specific channel (for example channel 2) the notes you are playing live on the keyboard will not reach sequencer.
