I noticed this prob with 10.7.4 on Monterey 12.5.1 (and previous Monterey). I updated Monterey just to see if that would help. Rolling back to Logic 10.7.2 makes it work. But what's up with that? k

Hi, Strange behavior - not repeatable but sure seems like a prob. Happened after updating VSL products. Not sure how to troubleshoot this. Every once in a while when opening my current project audio playback is lagging behind the screen playback. Lag. Not latency. Not like I've seen latency anyways - it is a noticeable lag. Play a key on the keyboard - a beat later it sounds. What I do to fix it: Quit everything. Open up VEP7, load the saved project or instance, loaded on second server too. Make sure MIR3D is closed. Open the project by choosing it from the Logic popup [control-click shows popup list of recents] Let that open. All things play normal. Somewhere, somehow along the way it quits working. I have not tried rolling back the previous versions - but I can reboot into BigSir - no lag. I am on Monterey 12.4 - Logic 10.7.4 The latest VEP7-MIR3D-Synchron layers from the July updates just recently. Yes, I have tried turning on - off the latency mode button - that works, but obviously disables plugins, so it's useless - I've never had to use low latency mode previously ever, so this is not related to that since I can get it to work. I'm resetting all prefs to factory and giving that a try next - but shutting down and restarting int hat order usually works. Baffled. k

I had to upgrade to 12.4 to make R4 / Nimbus work. R2 and Pheonix worked in 12.3 ....why?

Forgive if already covered. Miroslav Philharmonik 2 Monterey Logic 10.7 Cuts Notes Short Totally repeatable. Load in MP2 in Logic (10.7.x) and say, choose the GRND PNO Play notes. Many note are cut short - meaning they sound, they start to play and then stop and don't ring out. Any clue on how to make this work? Is this a bug? One thought: Load up the Sample Tank 4 plugin - Load in the same piano - it plays. Why? In case you are wondering - it does not do this with the stand alone version of MP2 - meaning it works just fine with my two Keyboard controllers one being new, on old. I've written IK Multimedia support ticket - no response yet - one IK person on their forum said it should not do this and submit a ticket. Dewdman42; very similar system configuration here... quick question, and feel free to PM me if not applicable in this thread. I do use VEP7 as well, and have been working on a template that I can live with and seems to work fine. I am interested in knowing what are the drawbacks - pros/cons of using a track, creating 16 aux tracks off that, each with it's own midi channel, then feeding that with 1 instance from VEP7? Make sense? I do not see a slow down, I have volume controls on each instrument I bring into Logic. I make one VEP7 Instance Woodwinds, another Brass, another Strings etc... or whatever I'm working on. I have several Master instances per library for quick access and I have built VEP7 instances with my Favorite Woods, or Brass as I see fit. I have one Perc, one Tuned Perc, Several Strings and some specialty... In Logic I track stack each "Track/Instance" and I also HIDE any of the 16 that I am not using. Do I run out if I need more than 16 Strings parts? Yes, Duplicate the track, my aux channels show up and I add them fast. I created a template with at least 7 instances/tracks each with 16 midi channels and can expand or hide non used instrument auxs. I dunno, I never read about doing it this way; I just did it. Any comments for learning would be great...and any comments about OpenCore and Our Macs welcome - there are glitches with that, booting, making Thunderbolt work etc... quitting Logic and it thinks it crashed...
