  1. I recently experienced this behavior for the 1st time. I had an instance of delay designer on an audio track with with one short audio region. The region would play and activate the delay and after the 3rd or 4th tap, the signal would drop out for a second or 2 and the it would come back. The solution that I found was to add some blank audio after the region and "merge" the regions together to create 1 longer region (longer than the length of the delay.) Another solution has been to route the signal to a bus and insert the delay at that point. Anyone else experience this? Happy New Year! Curtis
  2. Thanks for the link. I'll report back as soon as I give it a shot. Curt
  3. I did a quick search and didn't see this specifically addressed (my apologies if it has been.) Do Reason notes randomly hang for you guys when running it in Logic 9 via rewire?? If it does, has anybody found a decent solution?? I have just been stopping and restarting the project and that usually does the trick. But, it gets pretty annoying because this "hanging notes" happen while the project is playing. So stopping gets pretty old. Thanks in advance!! Curt
  4. Happy Holidays, I am using a M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 and I have successfully mapped a controller to the channel strip pan pot. I can move the controller and the pan pot moves accordingly. But, what I can't get to work is recording the automation. I have tried putting the channel in "write", "latch", etc.... and it doesn't record the movement. But I can record the movements when I "mouse" the pan pot around?? What am I doing wrong?? Thanks in advance. Curtis Logic 9.0.0, 10.5.7, Mac Pro, M-Audio Keystation Pro 88
  5. I also have experienced this behavior. If I have a session with lots of RAM intensive instruments (Kontakt, Play, etc...) there is a noticeable delay when deleting tracks. -Curtis
  6. Chris, Thanks for the suggestions. I will try partitioning and get back to you. Curtis
  7. Thanks for the input. I have only used 16 of the 80 gig. The drive currently has "light" fragmentation. Curtis
  8. I just began recieving this error. I have been mixing upwards of 40 audio tracks (24bit 44.1k) and Instruments with success for the last six months. Within the last week I have have been getting the disk too slow error. The error occurs randomly. All audio is playing back from an 80gig SATA drive that is dedicated to Audio files only. The session in question contains 34 audio tracks with little or no edits. All Instruments have been rendered as audio so I have no VI's active. It has been suggeted I reinstall 10.3.8 via the combo??? Here are my system specs... G5 dual 2g 2.5 gig RAM 160 gig SATA system drive 80gig SATA audio Drive 500gig firewire 800 "sample" drive MIO 2882 firewire i/o 10.3.8 LP 7.0.1 Any additional help would be great. Curtis
