    It was a bad key, I took it apart and cleaned the electronics and now all is well, thanks for all your help.

    I Have tried the control assignments, does not find the command. I tried the bypass all controller surfaces, still no good. I believe I have a bad key on the keyboard.

    I will try that tomorrow. I thought I did do that, but I could be wrong. Does the controller have to be on the left side highlighted for it to see the note or will it just go to the assigned one.?

    If I bypass all control surfaces , I will lose my Mackie controllers. How do you see the keys in the assignment window? I do not see the keyboard in question.

    I have a keyboard that has one key B#3 that will not play. In the area that shows midi data, it tells me no IN no out. I have multiple control surfaces but the keyboard is not one of them. It plays fine but for the one note. I wish I could find the command for that note but I cannot find it. Thanks for your time.

    sorry, but I am not at that computer, but if you go to your logic pick any song group 4 tracks together and right click, you will see create track stacks, click on that and you will see folder and summing. My summing is not available.

    When I pick the tracks to create a Track stack, it gives you 2 options, folder or summing, my summing is greyed out.

    So, it could be a track or two that is not allowing me to use summing tracks. Could I flatten the tracks causing this and then have them be summing?

    I am trying to send 8 summing tracks to someone and the option is greyed out. I have seen it work on other songs but not on a mixed track. Why do I only get Folder. The engineer wants me to send him summing track. Please advise.

    so I bounce all tracks and send them and leave the vocal as is ,so he can correct some small parts. When he opens this on his end he hears the song and still can correct problems in the vocal track? am I getting this correct?

    I am trying to fiqure out why I cannot send a project to a friend to work on and he cannot open the file, I am just reaching for ideas, He does not have the plugins I have.

    If my partner is just working on a vocal part to be repaired and nothing else, should i freeze everything and just leave the vocal tracks alone?
