  1. HERE YOU GO. I PUT ONE NORMAL CHORD IN THERE FOR COMPARISON.
  2. I have many LPX files from the era when Global Tracks included the Chords/Analyze functionality, which I used to insert those GT chords into my scores. When I open these files in my current version (10.6.3), which has had the Chords/Analyze functionality (unfortunately) excised, I see BLUE chord symbols. When I double-click these blue chord symbols, I get the alternative editing dialog box (parts of which I wish were in the "normal" chord editing box). When I transpose a STYLE, these blue chord symbols are transposed; when I transpose using the Region Parameter, they are not transposed. Odd. And, of course, when I change notes the chord symbols are not adjusted accordingly. I never relied on the GT analyze functionality because it didn't allow users to stipulate "only analyze every beat" (or some such granularity), but it did come in very handy at times when I was lazy. Apple might have either allowed the blue symbols to behave exactly like other chord symbols, or just had them converted automagically once they killed the GT functionality, right?
  3. I would like to lock a screen set until I decide to double click a single instrument or the open space outside a staff and get a single line or all lines. I have experimented with the yellow/purple chainlink thingy, but the behavior continues to be wonky. Some songs stay, while others change the filter screen set selection instantly whenever I go from Score to Tracks and back to Score. I guess if you select a track or region that trumps one's earlier decision?
  4. Yes, invert. Older versions calked it toggle. I will experiment and not bother you any more. I will start w a simple project. Cheers!
  5. The command merely selects everything that isn’t selected on the track or region and de-selects what was previously selected.
  6. Thanks for the quick reply. I am in score. I select highest notes. Then I click on the menu item “toggle selection” and the behavior I have observed for about a quarter century does not happen. The selection remains unchanged.
  7. As I have done on millions of other projects in earlier versions of Logic, now when I select highest notes then try to invoke toggle selection from the menu nothing happens? LPX 10.6.3. Catalina 10.15.6. Retina MBP mid 2012
  8. I just hate looking like a moron for the rest of time.
  9. This resolution makes me even happier than my quarterly Sesame Street music royalty payments. The hospitality offer will remain open indefinitely !
  10. OK, I'm the idiot. I was looking at the TRACK transposition (which I use so I capture all the regions) and expecting the application of REGION parameters to change. So I will stop the old method (which definitely works in v. 4) and only use the region transpositions. Sorry to have wasted so much of your valuable time. THANKS. You get a free 2 night stay at my Kauai home.
  11. The only other thought is that the nutty yellow/purple/no color linkage setting(s) somehow get involved?
  12. No--I did your steps, taking/making the most simple project and testing the command. Still no workie. In even older versions of Logic, I thought they called it track parameters. I guess I will just do it by hand. I just upgraded to 10.6.3 and still not working (at least for me). Probably the tropical moisture.
  13. The problem remains, but at least I finally understand how LPX 10 vs. LPX 9 is leading me astray: LPX 10 seems only to have an "Apply REGION Parameters Permanently" command vs. LPX 9's "Apply TRACK Parameters Permanently"--and, sure enough, there is no REGION transpose parameter to set so my transpositions (as I would expect) are applied by TRACK parameters. Am I missing the Apply track cmd??
  14. Done and done. It is a head scratcher. Your legendary status as a helper is well-earned; I could hear you thinking “his key commands might have over written the parameters normalization key combo”. I wish it were that simple. If nobody else has he problem, I will dig privately. Thanks a million and good night. (1am here on Kauai)
