  1. Fixed! I had to delete files called LoopsDatabaseV10.db and v09 and recreate them by reindexing - found in User - Music - Audio Music Apps - Databases.
  2. Yeah, I'm the admin and the other account is "standard." It's odd.
  3. Didn't work... I've had permissions issues before where I couldn't save channel strip settings. It seems to think I'm a sub-user - is there a way to fix that?
  4. I've tried that, doesn't work - and it tries to reindex every time opening the library. Is there a reason that my other account can access the folder and the main one can't?
  5. Some progress - I found that my non-main account can load loops fine. Permissions are set to read and write for the folders - anything else I can do?
  6. All loops are missing from both Logic and Garageband. I've reindexed many times with no change. The file path is correct/unchanged. I did move the sound library to an external drive and back again at one point. Each time I open the library, it starts reindexing, which never happened before. Also, when running a large project, if I click "Instrument" or "Genre" it starts loading the entire project again, even though it's open.
  7. One Pro-Q and one Pro-MB. Changing the latency of both didn't help, but deleting did.
  8. Thanks - I deleted every plugin as a test, but it was two Fabfilter plugins on the mix bus that needed deleting.
  9. I'm trying to record vocals and I'm getting 2 seconds of delay. I've disabled all other tracks/plugins/sends/muted plugins/frozen tracks/ except 1 track for the mic. It's not a settings issue because there's no latency issue on a new song, so there's some problem with this one. Bouncing in place doesn't help either. I could export a file into a new song and then import the vocal tracks back again, but I'd rather not. I feel like there could be a CPU glitch because I can only run it by freezing everything, and by all accounts an M1 should be better than that. It's 50 tracks, 400 plugins (a lot, I know), which all work with at least Rosetta. In any case, it should work when everything's disabled and muted.
  10. For some reason, the stereo bus is showing up in the arrange window as the last track. I can't delete it because it says it's protected, which it isn't with the lock icon. I'm worried that it will cause CPU issues by doubling up the plugins I'm using on that bus - or is it just an alias? Even if it's fine, is there a way to delete it without just hiding it?
  11. ...OK, I guess permissions weren't set correctly. It works after I set Read & Write for "everyone" for the Patches folder. I'm not sure why it needed to be if I'm the top user - is there any way to do this for every folder at once?
  12. It worked in a test account, and shows up in that account's Finder. I had some permissions issues on my old computer before migrating to this one, but everything's set to Read & Write on the main account. In the main account, it selects the correct path OK, but just doesn't save anything.
  13. I'm trying to save a channel strip with pan/send info and patches won't save. The arrow is pointing to settings, then save to Audio Music Apps/Patches/Instruments folder - but nothing shows up after refreshing the library. I've tried a workaround where I save to the desktop and add the patch manually to the folder, but when any change is made to the patch, it says "The patch is corrupted and cannot be opened" when loading it again.
