  1. That is interesting, Mainstage is my final landing place for this. I have tried to follow the section of the manual you posted, but it is not as clear as they would have you believe. I will take a look at processing as well.
  2. OK, well it sounds like I have a few options, all of which focus on capturing the incoming SysEx and transforming it to CC messages. I think the least friction would be starting with Scripter, if that does not seem viable, move to JUCE and write an actual MIDI plugin. And if all else fails the atomic solution of building a "box" with arduino MIDI to USB. Thank you for the help, and your commitment to providing a thorough answer. If I was to write a Scripter script (which I have not done buy I am a dev so I should be ok.) is there a repository of sorts where people share scripts they have written?
  3. Yes, I am using midi monitor, here is what is being broadcast. When I pull the 16' bar all the way out and all the way back in. 4. I have a Roland VK-8, it has a bank of physical drawbars, as well as all the usual rogan knobs and buttons (Vib-Chorus, Leslie On/Off). All of these things broadcast SysEx messages. In Logic Pro X Vintage B3, under the "expert" page, there is an option to receive these messages via a preset for VK, as well as other popular 'clonewheel' keyboards (Hammond CX, Nord, Crumar, etc..) However, when I select VK nothing happens to the controls when I make adjustments on the Keyboard. Any help, or a push in the right direction would be much appreciated. I can provide pics or data from midi capture or Logic, just let me know. Thanks EDIT: here is the page on apple support that discusses using a "Hardware Controller" for the Vintage B3 https://support.apple.com/en-bw/guide/logicpro/lgsia12cd8e/10.7.5/mac/12.3
  5. Thank you. I think we can mark this one solved/closed. Fred
  6. Hi All, excited to be here, first post. When I create a new cell, it defaults the Cell "Rec-Length" to Auto. Is there any way to change this, per track or per project? I have tried saving things as templates, but it always uses the same defaults when creating a cell. Thank you.
