hi, just wanted to use "Swap left & right locators" to skip a section and noticed that I can't find anymore under customise Control Bar. I pretty sure I used in 10.7.6, but I recently updated to 10.7.8 and I am wondering where/if I can find it. Any Advise?

Thanks for your answers. I totally agree, way to high, especially for very quiet but dynamic recordings. I hope „Bounce in place“ will also be 32bit in a future update. I will report it to apple.

Hello, if I am using Freeze, I noticed the my Reverb is chopping off to early (in my opinion). I re-imported the freezed Audio-file (32bit floating point) and I could clearly see and hear it. Is there anything I can do about it? And I also tried "Bounce In Place" with "include audio Tail", but same here. For me it chops off to early, and since Bip is only 24bit, there are artifacts in the quietest parts. Any way to change the settings to 32bit for Bip ? The only solution, for me, (for super hi quality) is exporting in 32bit (floating point) and adding a few seconds extra time (even when using include tail this way it will chop up the reverb to early!) I know I am very picky here (and maybe my new Neumann NDH30 are responsible for that), but still... . Especially for Solo Piano Recording I want to make sure it is the highest quality. (And keep in mind the truncation effect) Any advise very much appreciated. Sebastian

Hi there. Is there anyone here using touchOSC (ipad) with customized layouts and bi-directional midi to Logic X?! I am able to connect touchOSC directly with Logic (Link I used: https://hexler.net/docs/touchosc-setup-apple-logic) But at the bottom it is written! “Note: It is not possible at this time to use customized Layouts or to learn OSC commands. However, authorized 3rd party developers can create Logic CS plug-ins which can use OSC-based communication.” And if I use the touchOSC Bridge, I can use the app to control all I want, BUT no Midi Feedback/bi-directional communication is happening. It is greyed out. Just one way (ipad to Logic). Any help how to make it work? Or is it just not possible (without diving deep into coding ) Or is OSCulator the answer? (https://osculator.net/) I know this is very specific, but if someone here has some experience with it, I would love to hear it. If I could get it to work, it would be a perfect controller for various tasks. Seb

I fixed it on my system! Something was wrong with my 'Read & Write' Privilege. Logic was un-able to create Folders and Files. I selected the 'Audio' folder inside my Library -> Get Info -> clicked 'Apply To enclosed items...' set everything to 'Read & Write' and bingo! Logic now creates folders inside the Presets Folder ... I just wanted to share in the case someone experiences the same error. Attached a screenshot for better understanding

Hey David, I tried your advise, yes it works correctly with a new session! Good tip! And good to know that this bug is only related to the session. But I have no idea what causes this error. It is a pretty simple session, but I start a new session and import the track files etc ... .

Hi there, I updated to Logic 10.5.1 (clean install) and noticed now that when I want to save any settings in Logic, it is not saving it automatically in the right folder, instead it is pointing to the first folder I used during the session. Really strange. For instance, I save a channel eq setting, that's works, BUT afterwards all 'save/save as' are pointing to my channel eq folder to place any! settings. It can be any plugin, Logic, Softube, Waves. That's clearly wrong, but what can I do? I deleted the preferences, did not help. Any help very appreciated.

Yes, I was talking about the P1 (I think it is mow discontinued). Thanks for tip. I definitely put it on my list to check out at my local music store. (In a way I am still surprised that so few companies creating controller with deep LX integration.) As far as I know, Nektar is the only company doing it.

Hey, I am looking for Midi Controller to control Alchemy, Sculpture & Retro Synth. Is there anything out there which works similar to Komplete Kontrol Keyboards. These keyboards have this wonderful visual feedback/display of all parameters using AU/VST plug-ins, but unfortunately not Logic stock plug-ins. I think the Nektar has some support for the Logic Plug-Ins, I just felt the built quality was not good (but I tested it in the local music store many years ago). Any advise appreciated! (And of course Logic Remote! But I am looking for a more haptic experience...)

Hello, I want to Setup Omnisphere 2.5 with Hardware Integration (Prophet Rev2), but struggling to get Automation working. Is anyone here using Omnisphere with this feature and is able to write automation data with the help of the hardware synth !? I was following the instruction and set the controller of the hardware synth to send NRPN (instead of CC), BUT by doing this, all controller are sending ‘weird’ data MSB, LSB… . Logic doesn't like it. And I wasn’t able to write automation data. So how can I use the hardware synth to write automation in LX !? Any help very much appreciated. Best, Seb[soundCloud][/soundCloud]
