  1. In addition to the steps set put by Gacki I found I had to delete my installed version of Logic Pro X to allow the cloud symbol at the stage of being offered an upgrade to the latest working version matching my OSx. Prior to deleting my installed Logic Pro X I was being offered the upgrade (via the steps set out by Gacki) but when the upgrade button (no cloud symbol) was clicked the dialogue box which opened offered Cancel or Download. Clicking on the Download button did nothing other than to bounce the dialogue box up out of sight and down again. Despite restarts and many other tests nothing resolved the issue until I deleted my installed Logic Pro X version. (Send to Trash Bin and then Emptied the bin.) Before deleting my installed Logic Pro X and emptying the bin I compressed my installed version of Logic Pro X as a back up. I was walked through this solution by an Apple Logic Pro specialist via telephone help. I obtained telephone help by first opening a chat contact which eventually (efficiently) led to being able to speak to a Logic Pro specialist. I was very surprised and pleased with the great assistance I received from Apple. Thanks to Gacki and Apple assistance I now have Logic Pro X 10.5.1 running on Mojave 10.14.6 on a 2012 MacBook Pro. Best of all is that my 32 bit plug ins running under 32 Bit Lives are all working. I hope this may assist.
