No I saved as a folder both times. It was the ProjectData file that had the same issue as @finaldiner described with a repeated pattern for the Arturia mini v3 logs, filling up most of the textfile.

I did a quick bounce of my digital Arturia synths and saved the session under a new name (save as...). Made the Logic x project file size drop from 3,12 GB to 9 MB!
