Thanks!! So is Behringer UMC1820 suitable for this operation?

Hi guys, i'm new in the forum. I'm from Italy and i previously apologize for my bad english knowledge. I need to record drum tracks using 6 or probably 8 mic simultaneously but keeping each track separated. Can I did it with audio interface Behringer UMC1820 directly connected with USB at Mac? Will Logic automatically recognize single inputs channel? If already exist an old topic that answer this questions please link it. Thanks!
