  2. I´ve a problem with Logic´s Smart Tempo. Even if I´ve set the tempo mode to "Keep", by importing an audio file (f.e. from the loop browser) Logic will change the project tempo to the audio file´s original tempo. Is there any additional setting that I´m misssing ? Thanks in advance for helping.
  3. 10.5.1 under Mojave, indeed. okay... thanks !
  4. 10.5.2 ? thought the last version for Mojave was 10.5.1
  5. Hello des99. You are right, it was like that. Thanks again ! A dialog box was hidden behind the splash screen. With Mission Control I was able to move the splash screen to the second monitor and confirm the dialog box. There was still a problem after the validation was finished and Logic recommended starting the plugin manager because incompatible plugins were found. Unfortunately, the dialog box could be clicked, but nothing happened. After I terminated the "com.apple.audio.InfoHelper" in the activity monitor with quit immediately, Logic started the plugin manager and I could see which plugin was not compatible.
  6. Hi des99 ! Thanks for your reply.... very appreciated. Will try
  7. Hello everyone in this wonderful forum! I upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave on my Mac Pro (5.1). The last compatible version of Logic for Mojave is 10.5.1. Since the update to 10.5.1 I have the following problem: Logic tries to validate all plugins at startup but gets stuck after a while. I took out the plugins in the Components folder and only started with a few plugins. That worked. However, if I put more plugins back in the Components folder, Logic crashes again. I've tried to reduce this to a buggy plugin, but it seems to be less of a plugin problem than the number of plugins in the folder. I deleted the "AudioUnitCache" in the Library / Caches folder. Then Logic starts the validation, but after a while it crashes again. Maybe someone can give me some advice on how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance !
  8. Markers in Playback do not move ... do not represent the current location
  9. insert a modifier midi-fx in the instrument channel-strip (in that channel that should not react to sustain-pedal). input-event: 64 - sustain, re-assign to: 64 - sustain, set "scale" to 0, leave "add" at 0
  10. all the features you ment, except track search (so far I now ... correct me if I´m wrong) exist in Logic, too
  11. same problem here on mavericks after trying to change some dropdown-menus, which do not respond (not with all but mainly them in the project-settings), all file commands such as open, save as etc. don´t work, too. gladly most settings are available via the menubar, so for now I try to avoid changing them by the drop-down menus. I will try to disable all extensions and report again.
  12. same problem here on mavericks, but no app called "moom" installed after trying to change some dropdown-menus (not with all but mainly them in the project-settings), all file commands such as open, save as etc. don´t work, too. gladly those settings are available via the menubar, so for now I try to avoid changing them by the drop-down menus. 13. You can do this with "AudioFinder" http://www.icedaudio.com/ $69.95(that´s not so hard....)
  14. did you try to deactivate the audio-driver in preferences/audio/devices and then save the project (what works for me)? Okay, it´s not very comfortable but better than loosing your work
  15. as told in another thread in this forum: with my setup it is a problem, that occurs after working a longer time on a project and has nothing to do with the location you want to save, or the file-name. a way to save and not to lose your work is to deactivate the audio-driver, what makes saving possible again. greatings, JF
