  1. Hi there! Yep, native is an issue. A concurrently, a bug has also been found in Sonoma 14.4. I've recently received a notice from companies, to use Rosetta while an iLok issue is also being resolved with the current OS. here's a screenshot I get from running native 🙂 cheers
  2. A bit late on my reply, sorry. 🙂 I still have the issue, though. My work around is via deselecting the synth, Drummer or etc.... and it stops. These soft sun tracks also can not be frozen because they freeze always out of sync, which is a BIG drag. Thus, I have to bounce them in real time. a) My clocking is internal, not via an outside source. b)There's a number of synths/vst and ARA that are not Silicon ready. My CPU is fine, and I have 128g of Ram and lots of DSP via UAD. I work 90% of the time at 88K. My plugs and soft syn are stored on the main SSD drive. So... There doesn't seem to be an answer to this issue - that I'm aware of. I've read other's having the same problem. IT's a REAL DRAG... my Mac Pro 2013 Intel, never had this freezing issue or gurgle sync issue when a soft syn is selected in a medium sized project. I don't run a mega number of tracks. My plugs aren't cracks... So! LOL... upgrading is not always an upgrade except for the retailer.
  3. Hi thanks for taking time to try to help out. Appreciated 🙂 I have to use Rosetta for certain soft synths that aren't silicon ready. I have a number of Apollo Quads linked to my Dangerous analog summing. UAD has never been an issue and yes their DSP is necessary. I don't use their vst plugs. The gurgle digital crunch sound jam up thing is comes from a sync issue. For some reason, when a soft syn track is chosen (even if it's Logic's Drummer) this will happen. Choose another track that's not a soft syn (bus or audio) it then stops. LOL I most often work in 88.2 K (this perhaps may be an issue? I discovered I can freeze my soft synths and they will be in sync, only when I go to low latency mode. Thus, I then can't freeze any of the plug inserts on the track. As a work around I just started to print my Soft syn source work, then go from there treating it as an audio track. have a nice day.
  4. Hi Wilde, Sonoma & Logic 10.8.1. Thanks
  5. Hello friends, I'm experiencing 2 serious issues with Logic Pro since upgrading to Mac Studio. My work mode: (a) I work in 88.2k often with 1024 buffer size (in mix mode) (b) I'm in Rosetta (c) I'm running Logic through my UAD Apollo Quad 24 track system integrated with Dangerous analog sum gear of Apollo 12 stereo outputs to UAD Console 2bus. d) my audio tracks are 32bit float Issues: 1) Freezing soft synths, example Dune, Omnisphere, etc. Logic freezes my midi data totally out of sync with the project. This often happen especially after many hours of having worked on a track. Freezing audio, is not an issue. This is a very serious problem. When I run the midi track not frozen, it works fine. 2) When selecting a midi soft synth track while in play sometimes causes a synchro horrible gurgle issue. When I deselect the track, for example an audio or fx bus. It stops. I have a Logic Log file to attach if necessary - please describe which one from the extracted zip file I should upload. THANK YOU THANK YOU xo
  6. Hard drive space appears to be 1 factor. When the main drive begins to fill up and the OS detects it may have a shortage of space. The OS begins independently deleting system and work files it deems least valuable. Thus deleting the “LPX freeze files” upon startup/reopening a LPX project file to clear work space.
  7. Hello Logic Pro-fessors! 1) I "freeze" tracks in a Logic Pro project. 2) After my work is complete, I save & close. 3) Upon re-opening this project file. I hit "play" and the project automatically goes into "freeze tracks mode" for the same tracks that were already previously frozen. 3) Thus, the previous frozen tracks are not being recalled. Though they were saved in the "freeze folders". I've checked my freeze folder after freezing & closing the project. 4) Upon open & initiating "play". When Logic goes directly into "freezing mode" - it creates a new "freeze file" and over-writes the previously frozen tracks in the folder. Not nice! As you can imagine, this is terribly time consuming and etc. Is there any fix for this? This hasn't happened with all project files. Thanks in advance ) My system: Logic 10.6.3 Catalina Mac Pro: 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5; 32gb ram
