Hi all, first post
I want to use Logic for punch and roll voiceover recording.
It's pretty straightforward but one small issue:
Imagine I'm reading something long-form....
Blah blah...and make a mistake.
Stop, rewind and listen to the playback and stop right where I want to punch in.
Hit P to set punch-in point then hit record.
I've enabled 5-second preroll so I hear the 5-second playback and read along and Logic duly records from the spot where I hit P. All good.
BUT!
I'm playing back after a mistake and instead of stopping, just hit P to set the Punch marker then hit stop a second later. The Punch marker is set correctly at the P point.....When I then hit record I get the pre-roll BUT it doesn't start recording where the red Punch marker is but where I actually hit stop some point after hitting P.
Am I missing something or is this a bug? Ideally what happens is I'm listening back, hit P at the punch in spot, hit stop some seconds later, hit record and get a pre-roll and record at the actual P point.
Logic 10.4.8 (stuck on Mojave for plug/money reasons)
Cheers
