thanks for your response, I tried this but my P45 is connnected through usb to my mac, therefore there are no virtual connections to disconnect in this visual layout

I use logic in combination with a Yamaha p-45 piano, i use the piano to both send out audio out of the piano into an interface and then into logic, and to control soft synths inside logic. Logic is driving me crazy because everytime there is a popup or notification it sends a signal to my p-45 piano and then the piano plays a chord. I took the interface out of the signal chain to see if it was a sound from the macbook, but even with only the usb cable attached logic sends a signal to the piano and it plays the chord through its onboard speakers. I never set such a thing up and I certainly don't know how to fix it. send help!
