I have the Nektar Impact LX88+ Keyboard Controller and I have the same problem. I'm also using a iMac with Sierra installed. I've uninstalled the Nektar software for Logic and reinstall everything and that helped some. Now when i open a song if i wait a couple of minutes before I push play it will play ok. If I don't wait a few minutes and push play the audio plays fine but the screen will just lag and freeze. I thought this could be a problem with my setup somehow but, it sounds like your having the same problem I'm having. I guess I need to contact Nektar support.

Hey Kuba, You need to open your applications folder and right click on your Logic Pro X icon. Click on show package contents and then open the contents folder. Open the midi device plug-ins folder and drag the FaderPort bundle into the folder. That's all there is to it. If you don't have the FaderPort bundle you can find it at support.presonus.com. Chuck

I was having the same problem with Logic crashing everytime I would try to open it. I use the presonus FaderPort so I checked to see if the FaderPort bundle was still loaded and it wasn't. Everytime I update Logic I have ti reload the FaderPort bundle, but I've never had it to crash on startup before because it wasn't loaded. I reloaded the FaderPort bundle and Logic works perfect. I haven't had one crash since I reloading the FaderPort bundle. If you use the FaderPort you might want to try and reload the FaderPort bundle to see if it will work for you. I was wondering if anyone has tried big fish audio first call horns with logic pro 7.1. I've been looking at first call horns and memphis horns. I'm really wanting to get first call horns but, I want to make sure it works ok in logic. Thanks, Chuck Floyd

I'm getting ready to update my system from panther to tiger. I'm going to use archive and install to do it. My question is will have to reload logic pro 7.1.1 after I do this? Thanks, Chuck Floyd

I've been trying for 2 days to load some icons into Logic Pro 7.1.1. I have looked everywhere for the images/icons folder and I can't seem to find it on my computer. I've read the manual and every forum on this topic on the internet and still can't get it to work. I even created the folders myself and logic still does not see the new icons. I'm just about to give up on this. I usually can figure things out by reading the manual or looking on the forums but, I just can't seem to figure this one out. I've been using logic Express 7.1 for the last several months and I'm getting ready to upgrade to Logic Pro. My question is, can I leave Logic express on my G5 or do I need take it off? I would like to leave it on if it will not cause problems. Thanks, Chuck Floyd
