  1. that 'fine' tune dial should pitch the patch down to whatever cents you need christianb
  2. Thanks David for confirming... my second one of those. I'm afraid I am in a great minority as I haven't seen anyone else gripe about it. Sent in my beef to apple... we shall see i suppose. sux tho. christianb
  3. sorry guys... i posted this in the wrong section yesterday... thought I'd see if I could get any thoughts here. Recent upgrader from good ole Mac Pro-snow leopard-logic 9.1.8 to the brave new (clunky) world of IMac-mavericks-logic 10. I tried to find any posts about this... came up empty, so... sorry in advance if it's been discussed. I'm a main page automation junkie and always have my output 1-2 as a track along with audio/midi tracks. I've always been in the habit of keeping said output track somewhere in the middle of where i'm working but now it simply defaults to the very bottom of all the tracks. Can't move it at all. Strangely, importing an old L9 template leaves it where it was, but other aspects of that template are a bit buggy so i wanted to create an fresh 'autoload' as we once fondly referred to it. Any thoughts or fixes? I've been told it's a bug yet am surprised I seem to be the only one crippled by it. Thanks a lot christianb
  4. ooopsy.... and credit to shiver... sorry... saw it after the fact. christianb
  5. DING DING DING!!!! We have a winner!!!! Zuelito by a mile!!! well... crap then... I'm on my way to circuit city to buy 3 more speakers:-) Thanks buddy... was driving me nuts... ps... sorry for making the damned page so f***in wide... not so hip with the attachments thing thanks all... christianb
  6. okee dokee... maybe some pics will help... in the second pic, (sorry i could not get them in the right order:-) ) you can see my "Output1-2" drop down options. This is where i can utilize presets from the 3 folders in the "Output" folder... follow the bouncing path in pic 1 BUT... In the other folder I found ("Master"... just above the "Output" in pic 1) there are 5 'other' folders with all different presets. These are what I am having a problem finding IN logic. As I said, I had tried to drag those five into the "Output" folder so that I could call them up in Logic... no go.
  7. alas... my "master" track has nothing on the strip in the way of input slots. A long barren strip devoid of any settings, inserts, sends, buses, etc. Also, I had also tried to bring those mastering settings into the "Output" channel strip settings folder and they would not load. More ideas appreciated. Thanks much christianb
  8. Question on this same front... can the kore2 controller be used in any way? It only seems to 'activate' when kore is used. christianb
  9. I found this folder [library>app support>logic>chan strip settings>Master]. It has some very interesting set ups I'd like to play around with but I can seem to figure out where to instantiate them. They don't show up under 'output' channels and the master channel has no options to plug in any chan strips. So... where-o-where would I use them? I'm guessing it may be an 'aux' situation. If so, could someone spell it out for a sometime simpleton. TIA christianb
  10. Still on 7, so for me double clicking on background shows all. "view>show selected regions only" will show only highlighted objects after that. Hope it hasn't changed. christianb
