  1. 10.6.2 they fixed side chain PDC for buses and broke it for individual tracks. I'd demo it- for some users the routing they needed started working. For me, the routing I was using successfully suddenly stopped working. It depends on how you route stuff. What causes these kinds of oversight. I mean, they don’t check their work when they’re done? For a pro software, this is alarming
  2. I guess it depends which features you rely on. 10.6.2 and on require big workarounds to get sidechains to compensate latency, but there are various common crashes and plugin incompatibilities before then, and the newest ones have introduced a couple editing issues. I really just want the new 10.7 sounds only. I thought 10.6.3 was pdc fixed. What about 10.7.1? I’m not sure I understand you. Side chain was always broken since the very beginning Where can I get all these versions to try out? Apple please provide dmg files for versions. I’m only afforded 10.7.3
  3. Jesus. What’s the most stable version of Logic since 10.5.1? I can’t go to 10.7.3 with these issues. Is it 10.6.3? And can I use 10.7 sounds in 10.6.3?
  4. Didn’t they roll out a “fix” for this last year. what’s going on with them and this problem? One would think the fundamental would be right before anything else on a DAW. Has it been fixed in 10.7.3? Furthermore I suspect the code for the whole app is on its last leg, because it’s clearly broken. To be at version 10 and still no sample accurate mute automation, is very suspect
  5. How did you solve this? Third party presets are not saving to the correct location except a few plugins. I’ll start a spotlight and see if it fixes it
  6. I verified my disc and trashed Logic preferences and reinstalled one of the plugins. It’s preset is still not saving to the default location. It keeps defaulting to where ever I was last, or the hard disk. However, sonnox plugins immediately finds the default location
  7. I updated Logic Pro X and lost all my back up session because unknown to me the session backup count switched from 100 to 10, so I ended up overwriting my old sessions. Anyway to get them back?
  8. On the Mac Pro 2019 I’m running Catalina and Logic Pro x. Third party plugins are not creating user locations like on my old Mac Pro. When I want to save a preset within logic it defaults to the hard disk. I don’t want to manually create these locations because it would be too tedious. Why the change? Only a few plugins managed to create their own folders but 95% of my plug-in library is not creating this folder which is usually located at user>library>audio>presets
