Hi Perhaps you need to work from logic a bit more..You can record the midi into logic and trigger reason..Then work on the modulations in logic to reason..Actually I find it a waste of time..Just work in reason for the stuff you can do in reason and there you go..That's what rewire is for..I view it at its basic..An app to get sound from reason into logic is all I do with it..Rethink what you think might work..Might not..LOL...JON

Hi..Old skool thing here..Cout how many quarter nores are in a 10 second timeframe and multiply it by 6..It will get you pretty close,and the more you do it the closer you'll get..You can loop the sample if needed to get to 10 seconds..JON

Hi..You may wish to check out trilin from spectrasonics..It's got a "soon" release date..That's a tongue in cheek thing there..Trilogy was much heralded..And Trilian is a long awaited update that promises much more..JON Wait,do you mean you are choking at a 128 buffer ?? Are you using the full version of Kontakt or relying on the Kontakt player for each ??

Hi..I get you..I too love and hate both of them,,LOL..So I have found a sort of common ground..One for this and One for that..An example..I use Live8 for many things as well as PT7 for many things,I also use Lp8 for many things..It kind of defines in a way the options avaiable in present day..I also use Alchemy for things that none of the above can come close to.. Some feel the need to "settle"... I find that rather static however..That siad, man that's a buttload of stuff to learn and keep track of..LOL...OH yeah..Best of luck on you quest..JON

HI..In my opinion..Kontakt 3.5 is a much more superior sampler than the EXs24..In regards to scripts..They are specific to Kontakt..That doesn't mean there are some things you can do with the EX..If you are willing to spend endless hours attempting to replicate what you already have immediate access to..And also not being able to pull it off nearly as well,or at all...Stay with Kontakt and learn it..You will be amazed...JON

Hi..If you hace an X3 then the podfarm plugin is a free download..You then have access to all the amp and FX models that are in the X3..The X3 has to be hooked up via usb as it works as a dongle for authorization..The X3 does not support standalone so you need something such as Logic to be the host..JON

Hi Once the transients are set in the flex mode can they individually be pithched up or down in the region view..Or the sample view ?? Is there a way to do this sort of thing now in 9 ?? JON I hope this is the right place to post this..I'm allways putting stuff in the wrong place..If its' in the wrong place just move it David..And sorry if it is once again..

Hi..I'm wanting to get LP9 but without a manual it seems useless..Is there at least a PDF reference manual ?? I read some posts which said that wasn't even there..So is there a "dedicated " Reference manual in PDF or not ?? I'm at a total loss why Apple would do anything like this..Forget about it if you are new to Logic.. JON

Hi..I was wondering from anyone who has taken the plunge for LP9..Is it worth $199 ?? Are the new features actually something you can't live without or just more along the lines of a sort of let down ?? My reason for asking is I would have to bid farewell to Tiger and buy and instal Leopard..Then LP9... I'm assuming basically that would be a major time consuming thing correct ?? It would be basically a clean instal first..Meaning I would have to re-instal all my third party plugs..Or is that not the case..??? The flex looks intriguing,but it seems no other major enhancements have been added... I'm sitting on the fence here..As candid as possible here..I'm a sucker for something new...When I find all is well in 8..Perhaps just seeing if the carrot is worth trotting around after..LOL....JON

Hi..Looks somewhat exciting..But I'm stil a Tiger user...For myself it seems just a bit to little to late..I've been opening Live8 since it came out over Logic 8.. Although I love Logic..I will most likely stay put with 8 and dig deeper into Live8.. Man if I only had some money....Now that might change everything about this..LOL... And yes I too believe..Logic 8 was never a finished product..Or worked on in a way it should have been..At least for someone like myself..I've used Logic since version 5...So anyone else in a similar sit.. understands there just might be a bit of honest frustration as to its' progress and developement..Or not...JON

Hi..In Reason you have to click in the empty area of the arrange window so no instrument is highlighted..Not in the track area but in the rack to the left of the track area.Clicking in the arrange will not deselct all..Let me know if this works..JON
