  1. Hey, thanks for the reply! You're right that setting the sampler instrument for a given row to One Shot has the desired effect. You'd have to set it for every sampler instrument being used, but that's still far more efficient than tying everywhere. I'm not sure I understand the CC64 approach. Would having a CC64 triggered in one row of the sequencer make it influence other instruments on other rows?
  2. Hopefully I'm not spamming the board with a repeat question, I either have not found this addressed (online generally) or I'm not choosing good search terms. I am wondering if there's a global setting for sustain, or the equivalent tie/gate parameters, on a pattern region using the step sequencer. The desired outcome would be every sample triggered plays for its entire length. I am familiar with being able to tie steps long enough that the whole sample sounds, but I wouldn't want to do that for every triggered step in a complex pattern. I have also seen that the gate parameter is percentage of the step length, but is there no option for percentage of the sample? I realize this is somewhat of an unorthodox way of sequencing, but if I'm working with a pattern built out of many different kinds of sounds, some of them just don't make sense when they last a 16th. I also realize that some users may not want the overlap that would come with "sustaining" everything in a pattern, but it could also be an intentional effect. Any insight? Thanks! MJ
