  1. Hi I have the same problem. Exs is asking me to locate a missing file but when I do it's greyed and I can't select it. The file has exactly the same name though. What should i do ? thanks
  2. So I’m just curious, how do you store your kontakt and other big libraries with your new Mac Studio ? What ssd ? What size ?what speed ? Thx
  3. Apple release great powerful computers but it's useless for most of us because we have no solution to access our huge sound libraries. I need to load my 15 kontakts full of 16 instruments each in vienna ensemble pro, at the speed of light. I don't want to wait for my templates to load for 5-10 minuts. I have those Owc thunderbay enclosure, it's so slow compared to my friends Sonnet X4 Nvme Raid0 installed in their 2019 macpro... We need 2022 Fast Thunderbolt 4 enclosures to fit the mac studio. Especially when you have 32To sound libraries.
  4. You don't need to move them at all. Logic's Alchemy reads the locations where the previous content is stored, as I state above. Your presets are already in the correct location, you just haven't ticked Legacy Content yet. Any of these menus: a.jpg Thank you didn’t look in the right menu. But I think the other location I mentioned is the one used for third party presets.
  5. Thanks for that tip! I just got back over 2000 Alchemy presets.... You’ll see some doubles. Apple choose to keep some old presets, so you’ll have a “1” after the doubles
  6. Ok I found another way : Just put old presets folder in Music/Audio Music Apps/Plugin Setting/Alchemy and Samples in Music/Audio Music Apps /Alchemy Samples
  7. Make sure "Legacy Content" is ticked in the Alchemy preset browser menus, and if Alchemy doesn't refresh the library itself, run a manual refresh to rescan the preset folders, and they should show up - you have the legacy content in the correct location. It's not working. Are you sure I just need to drop my old "Camel Audio" folder (containing presets and samples) in Library/Applications Support ? I did the refresh and I still have the same number of presets. I can't see where to tick "Legacy content " , where is this menu ? thanks a lot
  8. Hey Guys, I just copied the Camel Audio folder from my old startup disk to application support folder in my new Catalina. But the old V1 presets won't show up in Logic Alchemy preset tab. Any help ? Thanks Here is where I placed the Old presets and Sample: /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/Alchemy/Presets /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/Alchemy/Samples Here is a cpature to see my old presets folders look like
  9. Hi, I decided to upgrade from Mojave to Catalina to get the 10.6 Logic but everything gets very slow. Copying regions, add tracks, going from one window to another, it's a nightmare. I'm working on a 30 ips animation movie. Using a 2013 macpro with Vienna ensemble pro server. 64Go Ram. 1To SSD Nvme (with adapter) internal drive. Everything was working smoothly on Mojave. Do you know what may cause the multi-color wheel appear everytime ? Thanks
  10. Yes you can do this - provided that the spacing of the phrase markings ( articulations etc) is the same as your Sax notes. ( This information is 'metadata' which can be copied and pasted anywhere else in the score). However this is a workflow question too - would it be quicker to write in the same phrase markings on the new Sax phrases? Are the rhythmic values of the sax phrase the same as the trumpet? If this is the case then the markings you Select>Copy>Cut and Past will 'fit' the sax phrase when they are pasted in the new position. Otherwise if your Sax is playing different phrasing you will need to fiddle about etc .. with positioning Or it could be quickjer to cut and paste the Trumpet phrase ( with it's articulations phrase markings) into the Sax Region - then change the notes to what you want the sax to play? PS @volovic - great video by the way! Thanks for your answer. I ended retyping nuances and phrasing for each instruments. I tried to glue a trumpet region on a sax region, after erasing trumpet notes. I thought meta data would stay, like I often do for automation. But it didn't work. And As you said even if rhythm/phrasing/nuances are the same on the parts I want to copy, note and spaces are different so I would have to re-align all caracters... @volovic: My score has been played and the result is great ! so thank you very much.
  11. I have a question: I edited a trumpet region with all articulation notations and nuances. Is it possible to copy only the editing I made, on a sax region ? thanks
  12. Hi Volovicg, as you can see in my capture, I don't have the sub-menu "Independant" available when I right click the e note. I get "interpretation" but nothing below. Do you why ? thank you. [EDIT] I found out ! There is an advanced tool menu and "partition" must be checked. For an unknown reason it wasn't checked...
  13. This is amazing, haven’t answered yet because I need to practice and see if I have other questions ( like deleting the triplets above notes for reading convenience) but thank you so much for what you did for me and others who will be watching this.
