I guess you can just rename the old one as Logic Pro 10.8 so it does not overwrite when installing.

Not the same thing but until/if ever they implement that, you can copy channel string setting of one track and paste only the sends to the other channel. They both have key commands.

It is exciting to get a new version but as the first excitement passed here is my opinion. From the headliners I am only interested ChromaGlow. The rest seems to targeted towards isolated semi amateurs and solo singer/songwriters who can not play much and want to finish a tune by them selves. A paranoid conspiracy theory but all the announced stuff aims to isolate people more. You did not need a drummer, now you do not need a bass or keyboard player friend. Do not look for a mastering engineer here we have one. Tries to kill a business and more than that a lot of up and coming individuals on fiver or elsewhere. Can not find an idea? Here rip off this song and take out parts to use, you do not need to collaborate with anybody for ideas. Aiming to taking the fun of creating something together away basically. AI stuff is unavoidable but this stuff sounds more like Garageband features. I have my own expectations from this release about the overall improvement of the program for years as everybody else. So I am waiting for Monday to see the change log. Overall I do not like where Logic Pro is going.

Try using Shuffle L drag mode. It is over the timeline next so Snap settings.

Searching for side chain source track is awesome. Since Logic does not have one and do not list in alphabetical order, it was hard to find the desired source track in a busy project.
