  1. I'm using Logic 7.1.1 and Reason 3.0.4. Here's what I have found to be the problem in that situation. I have run into this many times and it is very frustrating. When I have a plugin like say guitar rig on a guitar track, and I am using Reason for the drums, Reason will only play thru the first time on the loop. If I freeze the track with guitar rig on it, Reason keeps looping like it should. So in my situation I have found that if I freeze my tracks with Guitar Rig on them Reason will perform as it should. I haven't really noticed any other plugins hat affect it that way. Maybe something you are using is doing this. So all I can say is just try freezing tracks. Bill
  2. Hey guys, I hope someone here can help me. Suddenly all my Rewire channels are gray and I cannot choose them. Also, they do not say rewire channel 1 etc. It just says instrument 1 and so on. The first 2 channels are from a program no longer installed and I cannot seem to fix this. Now Reason no longer syncs and I cannot access the Rewire channels for Reason. I even Tried re-installing Logic to try to help, but no luck. I'm running Logic 7.1.1 if this helps. Thanks, Bill
  3. Hello all... Just to start, I love this forum. It has been very informative for me. I am in the process of putting together a little recording area for myself at home and was wondering what piece of hardware I should be using for zero latency monitoring. I have used the Mbox before when I used protools and it really sucked. I know it was only usb 1.1, and that was probably part of the reason. I was looking into the Motu 828, or the Presonus Firepod. Not sure if thats what I need. For starters, I am using a 2GHz iMac G5, I have 1.5GB Ram, and I'm running Logic Pro 7.1. I have a Pair of KRK monitors I'm using as well. I am currently recording my guitar direct into the iMac's input. I know this isn't the best sonically, but as a guitar player I cannot afford to have latency while tracking. And that is the only way for me to achieve that so far. All I need hardware wise is a simple 2 channel box, because all drums are in reason, only guitar, bass, and vocals will go thru it. Suggestions? thanks, Bill
