Hi,
Sorry to reference a Pro Tools/Live command, but here is something that I haven't been able to figure out in Logic 8:
I have various regions on my audio track. In PT (or Live 7), I can highlight a certain time that includes these regions, "consolidate", and then the highlighted section becomes an audio file itself. To note here is that it includes blank space included in the highlight as well as the already recorded regions on the track.
I have been trying to find a way to do this in L8. I know that I can export the track and then drag it from the bin to a track, but is there a way to do this in the track itself?
I have tried to use the pencil tool and put a blank audio region before and in between recorded regions on the track and then merge so that it is one long continuous file, but it doesn't work this way. I have also tried to use the Marquee tool as I would in PT with the highlighted section with no avail.
How can I achieve what I am looking for?
Thanks!
