  1. I was able to use mit with Ultrabeat now, using the step sequencer as well, the reason for buying it.
  2. Found this so far and looks fine... Software needs a few updates, nevertheless I hope anybody has experience here already. http://www.residentadvisor.net/review-view.aspx?id=15255 http://createdigitalmusic.com/2014/06/m-audios-trigger-finger-pro-videos-think-three-devices-one/ http://www.noterepeat.com/products/m-audio/usb-midi-controllers/trigger-finger-pro/393-m-audio-trigger-finger-pro-logic-pro-x-arsenal-setup http://www.thomann.de/de/m_audio_trigger_finger_pro.htm http://www.delamar.de/musik-equipment/m-audio-trigger-finger-pro-22958/
  3. Dear folks, I did not made a post for a very long time. In the past I searched for a good pad controller for Logic 9 and Ultrabeat. I made a thread here (cannot find the original thread), bought Spark, tested and sold, tried Maschine but not satisfied. No external sequencer is needed, I want to do it in Logic. Now I saw the new M-Audio Trigger Finger Pro. Any experiences so far with Logic X? I noticed that the old Trigger Finger got XML-Templates to use with Ultrabeat. You could recommend this controller? It needs to be written down that I am using a Mackie Control, Extender and C4 already. Main goal, simple drum programming in order not to use the mouse too much, my favorite genre is Trance. Hoping to get a reply soon. I do not want to buy a Native Instruments Maschine MK2 second hand only for this reason without using the Maschine Software. Best, b-pole
  4. Dear fellows, I am searching for a good sound card between iMac and my Event active speakers with good D/A. The quality of the internal iMac sound card D/A is not the best. I have a Virus TI2 configured with the iMac, but the drivers of the internal sound card are not as stable as used too, and the latency is not acceptable, 23ms at 256 samples. I looked for RME Babyface or Apogee Duet 2, but they are a little bit too expensive for me. The card should have a good separate headphone output as well, and the volume of the main out and of the headphone out should be able to change at the card. I thought about the Motu MicroBook II as well, but I did not found any reliable reviews up to now. Thanks in advance Best, Marcus
  5. grap it here... https://www.soundtoys.com/sxsw2012/&rc=311-8827-438 ...and have fun Greetings b-pole
  6. ups, saw the new forum today... nevertheless 1. happy new year to all my fellows 2. great new forum and very happy to be still part of the best Logic resource
  7. sorry to say this, but it seems we are going a little bit off-topic now. the thread is about a Logic update, and not another "war thread" betwwen PT and Logic. I am happy that we got another Logic update, and a new cheaper price for a full version.
  8. thanks for the info compatible, but not 100% bug free as with 10.6.8 I am waiting for 10.7.1 or higher
  9. @David Thanks for detailed reply. Seems I have really go to my local dealer, you are right, 5 controllers, 10 opinions... @krist Thanks for your statement regarding Trigger Finger
  10. David, PLEASE help... read about the bugs in the new Spark Software, Machine seems to be too complex, I would stay with Ultrabeat... So which controller?
