I ended up making them Apple Loops and can jump between then when I am trying parts for my tracks. Again thank you for your help and I'll mark this solved.

Hey hey, I've been trying to figure out how I can make my Track Alternatives more like the Apple Loop in the picture. It would be nice to pull down the menu in the arrangement rather Track Alternative. Anyone know how I can go about this? Or even what that Apple Loop feature is?

I have a Gen 1 SanDisk 1TB SSD and it works great for me. The transfer speed is around 550MB/sec which still loads Kontakt libraries just fine. Albeit, they're not Spitfire orchestral libraries. If you are worried about it being too slow, I would get the SanDisk Extreme Pro which has a transfer rate of 1000MB/sec. I see WorstBuy has them for $349. I would check Amazon or Micro Center to see if they have it cheaper.

I say if you want to make music now, get the new Imac. It will serve you for years to come and when the dust settles on the new silicon, then it might be time to upgrade again. Plus, who knows if any of the software will work when it the new ones come out. I remember when Apple switched to Intel, is was disaster for some companies to update their software. I know a few freelance developers decided not to upgrade some of their plugins to Intel code.

I love Logic Pro as well as Stylus RMX. Seriously, look at the tutorials on it, there are things that RMX can do that no over app or plugin can do. I was really blown away the first time I used it. Like everyone says, manipulate the loops to create your own. I've own RMX for 6 years now and I am still discovering new things and I am still getting fresh ideas just off of the core library alone!

Apparently you can disconnect the fan with no ill effects. OWC PCIe expansion chassis - fan noise? Thunderbolt PCIe expansions: too noisy? As a computer technician I definetly DO NOT recommend unplugging any fan for any reason in a computer. This was a video card where the fan died. Only took 5 minutes to overheat and literally catch on fire. Now if that was a $1000 UAD card I would be pissed as hell!
