"required software extensions missing" Does this look familiar? Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I've searched the forum but none of the suggested methods have worked for me. I have been reluctant to update anything because everything has been absolutely bombproof and dependable. But now I have to upgrade my OS from Tiger to Leopard 10.5.6 Does anyone know if Logic 7 will run fine on Leopard or do I have to upgrade to Logic 8 or 9?

just tried it at it didn't work for Logic, only the desktop items

how do you increase the size of the font on the display without reducing the resolution? i've looked everywhere, preferences, settings, systems prefs....i just got a new monitor

i'm trying to adjust the sample rate on my MOTU 828 mkII, but everytime i adjust the setting Logic always changes it back to 44.1 there's obviously something i'm overlooking. what menu is the default setting located in? can u really tell the difference between 96 and 44.1? cheers

ok got it...there's just too many things that needed to be turned off to hear my loaded sample. i wasn't sure why i wasn't hearing it, but all good now. do u kow anything about the midi controller assignment? ultrabeat recognizes the signal when learn function is activated, but the VIA parameters won't respond after they been assigned to the appropriate CTRL letter.

I can get ultrabeat to recognize a midi signal with the learn function right away. Once Ctrl A recognizes the signal, it automatically sets that right? Because when i select a VIA to Ctrl A, it doesn't respond to any controller movement. Am I missing a step?

i'd like to try my own samples in ultrabeat, but it seems the only kits i can use are logic's own pst's. can i build my own? or load them individually? there has to be a way

ok i've tried it in a new song and still the same thing when i drag the preference file from the desktop (the white do not enter sign) and the arrange window. again i've tried with template learn button lit and unlit. starting to wonder if this can be fixed any other suggestions?

now i get a white circle with a slash through it, like a do not enter sign. i've tried with an aiff, wav and mp3 files

no i don't get that at all from the arrange window or mixer window

when i try to grab and drag a file into the template window, nothing happens. i've tried from the mixer, arrange, desktop to the match eq display and to the template learn button....i guess i can use control-click but still there's no progress bar being displayed. what am i doing wrong or not doing at all?

the manual isn't that helpful at all
