in L8 I remember you could change what tool cntrl+option gave you instead of the zoom... how do you change it in L9? thanks!

Hi all, In an orchestral template that we have created, each section of the orchestra is organized in track folders. To increase workflow efficiency, there is a screenset associated with each folder (ie: F1 opens the woodwinds folder, F2 opens the brass folder, F3 strings, etc.) This works wonderfully until a mass edit is done of the track folders in the top level of the sequence. Let's say I want to snip from bar 21-24, delete that section then remerge the track folders. After doing this, all of the screensets seem to be off by 1 (now F1 opens brass, F2 - strings, etc...) Can anyone offer a solution to this, or another way of switching back and forth easily? thanks! -Jake Monaco

Hello, I have installed Logic on one computer and Waveburner on another, as I would like my assistant to be editing files while i'm working within the sequencer. Do I really need to buy a second copy of the whole Logic package in order to do this AND still be on the same network? I understand not being able to run two instances of Logic on different computers at the same time, but these are different programs... Does anyone have any thoughts, solutions, or comments? Thanks

Hi, How can I change the ticks per beat (ppq) resolution? I'd like it to be 480 ticks per Quarter as opposed to 960 is this possible? Thanks -Jake

Hello, I'm currently running G5 host with Logic 8 and have 6 mac minis running various parts of the orchestra. We are currently running plogue as our VST host and it's working great. We have one machine that we'd like to include MainStage on as the host so that we can use separate verbs without having to purchase another profire or any other hardware. Unfortunately, MainStage won't run on the mini because of the graphics card not recognizing a certain resolution... when I attach a DVI display... it works fine... but we access all the minis through remote desktop and don't really want to buy displays to leave hooked up in a machine room just taking up space... so i've left a DVI adaptor in the MINI to try and "fool" it... but that is prooving unsuccessful.... If no one has a solution or suggestion for this... i'm hoping this can find it's way to apple and something can be done about it. Thanks all, -Jake
