Hi folks. Wondering if anyone can help. Is there a way in logic to say chop up a midi piano groove region into cord a progression and change out the chords as in say one part of region is Am and just change it to Bm7 so performance reflect chord change? Without going into the piano roll and changing out the notes individually, a bit like EZkeys. I know theres a chord recognition feature in the LCD but that's all i can find Hope that's clear. Hello, all sorted. if you're interested i dug into the High sierra version that worked and had a look at the controller assignments (expert view) and compared it with the broken Sierra one, there was quit a few duplicates of Faderport instances in Sierra version Zone column? so deleted them and just left one faderport instance and fader is now working. In the High sierra and sierra control setup pages, the 'fader bank for track view and fader bank for all view values differ? but as i said I'm working ok now. thanks for your time. Ronny.

Hi folks. Have been on to presonus and they've sort of give me brush off, anyone help? I updated to 10.4.1 and since then my faderport fader isn't working properly, it sits at the bottom just jittering away when i move a fader in logic. If i move the faderport fader logic follows but when i let go FP fader jumps back, again unless i hold it for a second or so, then it will hold its position until but weirdly if i adjust something in the arrange window inspector say 'transpose' i jumps back to bottom. Heres where someone may know whats happening. I doesn't have any problems if i use it on a external midi track, only on audio or software instrument track. I went back to el capitan with a 10.3 Logic on and the problem was there too. The problem doesn't occur in clean install of High Sierra with no migration, I'm trying to stay on Sierra. Eric. mine is broken with shift click on the command-tool it just cuts at the marquee borders? works when the main tool is marquee.

Thanks for your help I just setup a dummy project of 4 audio tracks, all stereo, tracks 1-2 with loops on them / output tracks 1 and 2 to bus 1 stereo, (AUX 1 with chorus inserted) can still only get 3 or 4 choice, and not 3-4 Also if i solo the audio tracks 1and 2 shouldn't they be dry as I'm getting the processing from AUX 1. I always thought the solo was listening to the track contents and not where its outputted to. Getting very confusing.

Hi thanks Yeh the two tracks outputs are set to BUS 1 and named KIT AUX' which is set to 'stereo out' so i hear it, and getting an output just not getting the choice of that bus to feed the record track.

Hi i thought i had the busses and aux sussed out but?? I have 2 old kit recordings tracks, a left and right panned, i wanted to sum them to a single track to get a tempo map off it. I thought i could just output them (not through the sends ) to a bus / Aux, insert a gate on the Aux channel and gate it tightly to just kick and snare then record that auxs out to another audio track to lift the tempo off that single track. i know there's different ways of doing this but wanted to try this way. Alls well until i create an audio track to record to and try and try to assign its input to the Aux1 which I've named KIT AUX' but when i press that tracks input box and go to the busses all i get is 'BUS 1 (Left arrow) Kit Left - Kit right' and not Bus 1 - KIT AUX. So when i record the track there's no processing on it. probably simple but ? Thanks anyone. Ronny
