  1. Faders. I tried it and it worked. Thank you very much. However I found this way of editing is not very productive and roburst. Is there a way to do this in Data List or Hyperdraw? Thanks
  2. I have a question. I draw a 4/4 kick drum pattern with pitches like this... Boom Boom Boom Boom in C in E in C in E After I drag this Midi to Arrangement, how do I edit the pitch of each Kick in arrangement? or using List or Hyperdraw? Would someone please show me.. I hope I made sense. Thanks.
  3. Same thing happened to me. I loaded a Kick drum using Import. The next time I loaded the set, that kick drum is gone. It certainly does something strange.

  5. Thanks for the replies. I am thinking of getting the Roland TD3, but it costs like 1000, so I am still a bitl hesitate.
  6. I am thinking of buying the Roland-TD3 drum kit to play and record MIDI into Logic. Has anyone here done that? Please give some feedback on how to set this up with Logic. Thanks
  7. I just downloaded a bunch of new sounds for Logic instruments. However, I don't know how to add these to the library. Where should I move them so they are automatically added to current Logic library? Thanks
  8. David... There gotta be something that I am doing wrong. Let's say I have 5 regions that I want one particular MIDI note's velocity to be 127. I would high-light the whole 5 regions, but my Event List only show the MIDI events in the first region. Or let's say If I high-light all notes in Piano Roll, only notes in 1 region are shown in the Event List, not all 5.
  9. Thanks for all the replies. I definitely have a long way to go.
  10. I am confused.. Mixing is where you mix the level of all the channels, possibly adding compressions, limits, and such to each individual tracks. Versus, Mastering is where you add phaser, compression, limit to the Master output or the bounced track right?
  11. Monday... I was introduced to something called Crest Factor (usually from 8-12dB) by David in one of the previous post. I am "trying" to make Trance music where I want my music to be as loud as possible (0.0 dB) packs with lots of punch and clarity. Now my question is how do I access that "Crest Factor" or how to change it? Is there a trick to increase loudness without clipping? Obviously, I want a lot of head room. Another thing I have heard is that with Hardware you have up to 3dB while with Software you only have up to 0.0 dB of head room. This might explain why some music just sounds so crystal clear with lots of detail and also loud. Is this a myth or is this somewhat true? Someone with knowledge (you know who you are =), please shine some light. Thanks
  12. yeah.. This is quite deceiving. Why would Logic high-light the whole thing while only changing 1 region at a time. This is not quite true representation of data.
