  1. Good tip! I never use it outside of my home, but on a macbook you should turn it off.. If a friend places a big file inside the box it could cost you
  2. Hi, I've been using a program called Dropbox for a while now.. It allows you to easily share files trough a dropbox (duh) which can be accessed online (browser) and directly in your Finder! It's totally awesome and can be used to store your Logic projects and share them with other musicans/friends or for other work purposes. It's completely free and also multi-platforum (Windows/Mac/Linux). This program saved me so many hours of sending stuff to people trough mail and colleagues it's just crazy You get 2 GB storage space by default, and an extra 250 MB for new users that sign up trough you.. So if you like the program (and I'm sure you will) please sign up trough this link: Get Dropbox!!
  3. Great!!! I really liked Locked my keys in my car, so I'm going to check this out right now.. I'll let you know my opinion about the album later!
  4. Looks really interesting! I have been checking out the functions and i'm interested in maybe using this for a website I'm working on.. It's a bit expensive though!
  5. I have no idea how you could do this, but I am really interested to find out!
  6. According to the article they went out the night before.. since there probably was alcohol involved and there was a woman present, I'm pretty sure they've spent the 100.000.000.000 themselves
  7. Great guys!! I wish I could do that so easily Maybe within a couple of years I'll be able to do that.. Thanks!
  8. Hi, I really want to do a cover of a Chemical Brothers track named Surface to Air.. We want to use the original guitar riff as a basis, and add lyrics and play it live.. We want to use the Chord Progression used in the song that starts at 2.08 mins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33WTgejzNLs&feature=related Does anyone know what chords they are? I'm not guitar player, and just learning music theory, so I'm having a hard time to find the right chords! Thanks so much in advance
  9. Dry your eyes from The Streets!! It's a real gem of a song! Anyways best of luck during these hard times (be sure to get painfully drunk at least a few times.. it helps)
  10. Look no further desperado.. you have found the holy grail of passionate artists talking about (logic related) music creation.. 8)
  11. David R you are talking bullshit.. please go somewhere else I have the Blue Sky EXO 2.1 system.. gives a great bang for your buck... It comes with a adjustable subwoofer to give you decent low frequency sound aswell.. I really really like them!
  12. First there was Mono Then came Stereo I now present to you: Steronomo http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/1649/picture6ru6.jpg Coming soon on a Logic system near you!!
  13. I'm jealous on you guys.. I don't have perfect pitch, and I hope that a sens of relative pitch will develop over the years.. I'm only making music for a short while, haven't played an instrument before, so I think I should give myself atleast a few years before I can tell how musically gifter my ears are.. It's an interesting subject though, and I would like to advise everyone who finds this interesting, to read this book by Oliver Sachs called Musicophilia.. Amazon Best of the Month, December 2007: Legendary R&B icon Ray Charles claimed that he was "born with music inside me," and neurologist Oliver Sacks believes Ray may have been right. Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain examines the extreme effects of music on the human brain and how lives can be utterly transformed by the simplest of harmonies. With clinical studies covering the tragic (individuals afflicted by an inability to connect with any melody) and triumphant (Alzheimer's patients who find order and comfort through music), Sacks provides an erudite look at the notion that humans are truly a "musical species." Ski: have you published your study, I am interested
  14. Yeah and what's up with people standing in front of a red light for 3 minutes when there is no car to be seen.. what's up with that? Huh? And people who are are bald, that go to the "hairstylist" to get a new look. And fat chicks wearing skinny jeans.. they call them skinny jeans for a reason.. Anyway ontopic: What the hell are you guys babbling about??!?!?!
