I tried upgrading my OS 10.4.x to 10.6 and had some big problems with both Logic 8 and Ableton 8. Both Logic and Ableton would crash during startup, and give me an error log which i have no idea how to read. Has anyone else encountered this issue and know a solution? In the meantime, I'm back to 10.4. However, I have a project to work on with a Cubase user who is on Cubase 5. I'm currently on Cubase 4, and it says 5 will only work with OSX 10.5 and above. I definitely dont want to upgrade to 10.5 at this point. Any ideas? thanks team. using Apogee Ensemble , Novation SL + automap, motu ATV midi interface

Hi, Bit of a frustration here, when I adjust the faders in the mixer on audio tracks, it affects the volume of the track coming out of my speakers, but it doesn't affect the peak level that is being read by the meters, nor does it affect the way the meter lights up (doesn't change how much of the meter is showing yellow/red/etc) What gives? Thanks for the help!

I"m experiencing the same issue. It sure sounds like a bug to me. The sample will continue to "preview" itself repeatedly even after I leave the sample selection window. Workflow killer indeed. Makes Ultrabeat useless for me unless I use the default settings. Bummer. Hope its fixed soon.

I use the TI desktop w/ Logic 8. It works like a charm, you can use up to 16 different tracks at a time coming from the VIrus into logic. I find it very useful to test out different arrange ideas and work everything in midi until I finally have to bounce down to audio for final mix. The automation doesn't work as well as I had hoped (but I may not be a master of automation w/ virus). You can only record automation from manually tweaking the virus knobs on track 1 - not the other 16. You can however, draw in automation for all 16 tracks. In summary, I love it. You can do amazing things with the TI and Logic.

Thanks for the links. Can't wait to load these up. I know its a stupid question, but how do I load these in Space Designer? Is it obvious like 'drag and drop' or is there a load IR button? I remember I tried to load some previous IR's I had and I couldn't make it work. thanks a bunch
