The style of music is similar to that of Lemon Jelly (electronica). I am a novice at logic. I just feel the beat drop is a massive let down; it doesnt provide an explosion of sound like i want, there seems no highs and no lows, its just a mess.

boy am i in the same boat as you, i got a 61 a little while ago, id like a reg to write a little getting started with axioms in lp8. I havent tried yet, but i wanna get transport s#!+ working, i wanna know how to assign all the sliders and faders to actual functions. I wanna know how to use seperate channels for pads and keys, so keys maybe the steinway EXS24 and the pads an ultrabeat kit. plus im v confused what all the func buttons below the led do. c

he used strip silence to divide the audio track into individual audio files. i wanna take a song audio track and chop it up into 61 samples. do i just create new audio regoins in sample editor save them and then drag to synth

i wanna chop up a song into samples to be triggered by my axiom 61 keys, what process should i goto and how do i adjust setting, i.e. loop when pressed, or only play while holding down key

I still am struggling greattly with my axiom 61, could anyone who has one of these controllers or hopefully this one, give me a pm or post their aim/msn so i can chat to them and ask them some basic Q's. I would relli appreciate it, cheers guys. c

They got 25% off atm. I am a logiv noob, who has got logic 101, and can understands basically all of it, i also have mixing electronica. My main aim is to become a prficient electronica, lounge music creator. I wont be needing to don much audio recording, basically all midi and some sampling. Should i just go for synths tutorials, ES2, ultrabeat, sculpture. The TNT1 looks awesome value for money 6 hours for only $50 - 25%, but would this tutorial help me much or is most of it useless to me. I only wanna buy 2 tutorials atm, help me out guys. c

basically i have used the EXS24 steinway piano SI and have added a bunch of inserts it sounds awesome. I wanna have that same sound on another project, any way to save all my inserts and setings on this track and move the to my new song. c

awesome relies guys, very helpful. Yeh i was just confused as to what he was doing. Some of the thinks in his videos are hekpful but 95% is a mystery to me. Ill stick with the MPV's and ive just ordered davids book, should get me going. My only other probs are hardware related, ill read through the axiom's manual and try to figure this stuff out. whenever i try to record a new track, starting at bar 1, i have a 1 bar lead in, after recording all other tracks jump forward 1 bar, so that all my tracks now start on bar 2, i have to manualy drag them all back to the beginning of bar 1, why is this? c

when I create a new SI track and find an instrument and play keyboard the sounds bounce from left to right speaker, going back and forth. I was using the Warped Electronic Dub Kit earlier and if i kept pressing the keys the sound would 'move around the speakers' i just want a constant sound, even a cross speakers. help. c
