  1. I found what was the problem. One of the audio file was creating this mess. I muted all track and started the playback, there was no problem at all, then i un-mute all tracks one by one, and there it was, a 303 recording. I took it out the session and the problem is gone. I remember a i had a similar problem once with some AIF audio file imported from a MP3.
  2. i uninstalled both, the problem is still here, i have the feeling the session might be corrupted.
  3. i have the following in the HAL plugin folder: Digidesign CoreAudio.plugin DVCPROHDAudio.plugin iSightAudio.plugin JackRouter.plugin i don't use any of those, so maybe i can disable them. i can't remember what this HP_HardwarePlugIn can be. might be from Xcode, some core audio universal driver maybe
  4. Problem is still present after going back to precedent driver on RME, tried everything i could. this is what i get in the crash window: Process: Logic Pro [246] Path: /Applications/Logic Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/Logic Pro UID: 501 Thread 6dc DispatchQueue 100 User stack: 12 DummyConnection::DummyConnection() + 193 (in Logic Pro) [0x2bb85] 12 NSProApplicationMain + 326 (in ProKit) [0xfe63f6] 12 -[NSApplication run] + 917 (in AppKit) [0x95e43253] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 6116495 (in Logic Pro) [0x6118af] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 6135090 (in Logic Pro) [0x616152] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 6003082 (in Logic Pro) [0x5f5daa] 12 -[NSProApplication sendAction:to:from:] + 127 (in ProKit) [0xfe3414] 12 -[NSApplication sendAction:to:from:] + 112 (in AppKit) [0x95ebfa26] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 6002223 (in Logic Pro) [0x5f5a4f] 12 -[NSProApplication terminate:] + 186 (in ProKit) [0xfe2fec] 12 -[NSApplication terminate:] + 713 (in AppKit) [0x960ba167] 12 -[NSNotificationCenter postNotificationName:object:] + 56 (in Foundation) [0x991a605d] 12 -[NSNotificationCenter postNotificationName:object:userInfo:] + 128 (in Foundation) [0x99198c50] 12 _CFXNotificationPostNotification + 186 (in CoreFoundation) [0x9945b16a] 12 __CFXNotificationPost + 947 (in CoreFoundation) [0x9945b763] 12 _nsnote_callback + 176 (in Foundation) [0x991a3db3] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 6133043 (in Logic Pro) [0x615953] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 1640828 (in Logic Pro) [0x1ccd9c] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 3830620 (in Logic Pro) [0x3e377c] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 513221 (in Logic Pro) [0xb98e5] 12 std::ostream& TraceOutContainer(std::ostream&, CEvs, char const*, int) + 512907 (in Logic Pro) [0xb97ab] 12 GetCurrentCoreAudioDeviceNameFromUserDefaults(signed char) + 13672 (in MAAudioEngine) [0x2cd0428] 12 AudioDeviceStop + 206 (in CoreAudio) [0x99b17e66] 12 HALDevice::StopIOProc(long (*)(unsigned long, AudioTimeStamp const*, AudioBufferList const*, AudioTimeStamp const*, AudioBufferList*, AudioTimeStamp const*, void*)) + 35 (in CoreAudio) [0x99b17ecb] 12 HALPlugIn::DeviceStopIOProc(HALObject const&, long (*)(unsigned long, AudioTimeStamp const*, AudioBufferList const*, AudioTimeStamp const*, AudioBufferList*, AudioTimeStamp const*, void*)) + 52 (in CoreAudio) [0x99b17f02] 12 HP_HardwarePlugIn_DeviceStop(AudioHardwarePlugInInterface**, unsigned long, long (*)(unsigned long, AudioTimeStamp const*, AudioBufferList const*, AudioTimeStamp const*, AudioBufferList*, AudioTimeStamp const*, void*)) + 147 (in CoreAudio) [0x99b17fcd] 12 HP_Device::ExecuteCommand(HP_Command*) + 87 (in CoreAudio) [0x99b11673] 12 IOA_Device::StartCommandExecution(void**) + 41 (in CoreAudio) [0x99b0fa9b] 12 CAMutex::Lock() + 63 (in CoreAudio) [0x99af42fb] 12 semaphore_wait_signal_trap + 10 (in libSystem.B.dylib) [0x975eab42]
  5. i have the same problem, i only use internal hard drive, my system is on a SSD (180gb OCZ vertex2) files and sessions are on the original hard drive of the MacPro, soundbanks wich i don't use on this session as it is mainly audio and ADM audiorealism plugin are on another internal, fourth HD is for Time Machine. i have tried everything, copying the session to another HD, to the system HD, trash prefs, nothing works. The problem appears after 3 minutes in the arrangement window. I have this since i installed my Madi RME HDSP card, so i start wondering if it is not related to the new driver which i installed 3 weeks ago. Which drivers are you using? mine are the latest 3.01 for HDSP system.
  6. Bump for a great thread, for me anyway. I just got my Equinox yesterday and am figuring out how to hook it all up. This thread has helped quite a bit. The only part I am stuck on now is is the external inputs and out puts. How do you have yours set up? If I run everything summed back into my Aurora where should I bring them back in? 1 and 2 into the Aurora Do I need to eat up another free stereo track now to listen to it....like 3 and 4? and do I need to always have 3+4 armed in record mode to hear it back? Please help.... I'm hoping there is a better way I'm just not seeing. you have to use 2 Y cable for the main output of the equinox and 2 Y cable for the output of the hardware you are using (compressor or any but let's call it "hardware"), you can also do that with a patch (maybe you can do that in the matrix of your converter digital drivers if available or in a hadware patch if you don't want to sacrify some of your converter output for that) one pair of the equinox main out goes to input 1&2 of the aurora, and the other to the "hardware" input. one pair of the "hardware" output goes to the equinox external in and the other to the input 3&4 of your converter (or 5&6 if you use 3&4 for the mic preamp output) this way you will monitor the SUM "hardware" treated signal by switching to EXTERNAL on the equinox and just SUM signal switching to MIX3-32 as usual. I'm using a SSL madixtreme and i can't do any patch inside the computer, and i also wouldn't want to use some of my ouputs for that as i prefer to keep the max for the summing. i hope this helps Cheers K
  7. i think it was midi files, you had to change the .logic for a .mid to get it to work. i don't know why it got the wrong extension added to it.
  8. here are the 909 and 808 grooves in midifile format. 808 is only one track, 909 is 16 tracks. The 909 midi file's 32th groove s2 & s3 are almost the same, and s4&s5 also, i guess it is normal, as logic recorded thing this way. i will check when a get a 909 back! cheers K 909krikor.mid.zip 808krikor.mid.zip
  9. TR808 16th groove on 8 mesures from my beloved roland Krikor-808-16th.logic.zip Midi file exported from logic
  10. The reaktor ensemble works fine in logic! i bought it and it is worth it!!! best emulation synth i have used so far!
  11. TR909 grooves here includes: 16th shuffle mode from 1 to 7 32th shuffle mode from 1 to 7 12th 24th 16th are on 16 mesures so you have a nice long groove 32th are on 8 mesures 12th and 24th are 8 mesures enjoy LOGICgroove909.logic.zip midi folder exported from logic
  12. yeah that is finaly what i had to do, as i had loads of presets it took me a while, but now everything is fine! Cheers
