    Just a quick one. Maybe I’ve missed it but I’ve noticed that logic is automatically assigning a track icon based of what I’m assuming is the audio track name when you drag it to the main window. When did this feature drop?

    I'm sorry, I need to vent. This is getting extremely frustrating. Don't get me wrong I'm sure this is extremely hard to resolve and there must be backwards compatibility concerns but this is getting ridiculous. I have tried changing my workflow but I am forever coming up against this issue and I'm struggling to Mix projects. Any advise on how you over come this or have changed your workflow? I really hope this is addressed soon. For the first time ever I'm considering changing DAW I'll submit the bug yet again.

    I just came across your post on GS and came here to try find an answer. No joy yet but il keep looking. If you want you could send me the project file and il have a look around and see if i can replicate it on my system, then fix it. My only guess is something in the environment. Have you been using it at all?

    That is the right way to set it up, maybe try deleting all the other automation settings you have in there and starting a fresh, took me a couple of times to get it sorted. Was it the Logic ninja video on youtube?
