damn its hard to say I have both and the pros and cons for both have been pretty much covered. id say have logic in your arsenal especially with the price tag of studio 8, its well worth it i think its a great money spent. and do maybe as most may do here, you may be bored producing in one and jump into the other program for visual "inspiration"

i also got the zibba stutter (sounds like a disease.lol) but for some reason its true, that manual stutter is more soothing when u want something specific.

yea i have no monitrs. im using headphones. but then in PT (which i had to use tonite due to time constraints i didnt have the problem)

i used to use logic for production only and PT for tracking vocals. but now when i try to record in Logic I get this nasty loud peaking hiss, whenever I record enable or do input monitor. I have the levels on my mbox set to acceptable levels. im stuck and nee dto have a recording done by tonite, sorry for the n00bocity.

hope to make it out there Friday, same times everyday correct? this is nice, first red bull music academy then top the week off with this friggin schweet! although parking on the beach is already bad WMC will make it worse. will it(presentation) be done on a large screen and I could bring the lappy toppy? or will there be stations n such to work on stuff? ok i just asked a question about that on the plug-in strip post that David made for ultrabeat. No preview and then when i load the sample it does not stop repeating itself and also have the update on Logic Pro 8. i've had this behavior (no preview and then repeating sample forever) on my mac pro, too. my workaround is to use iced audio's audiofinder program to preview drum samples, and then go back into logic to import the sample. yes, it's non-elegant, but until apple gets a clue about these hilarious bone-headed problems with ultrabeat, i'm forced to work in this manner. other than that, ultrabeat is a great tool. but when you do it in that fashion does it still do the repeating note in ultrabeat? or is clicking preview in ultrabeat causing the whole note repeat thing?

ok, i may be pulling a n00b here, but i notice whenever i load a sample into this preset the damn thing wont stop triggering itself, even if i enable recording, put song in playmode, mute the track the unmute, trigger the sample (the repeating one in ultrabeat) via controller,etc. I just cant get it to stop, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd highly appreciate it. thx Sha'ul
