I've read about the song before and everywhere it says that it was made by Thom York recording Ed Obrien playing guitar for ten minutes and then "arranging" it to create the song. I am simply wondering what that arrangement might entail. Apparently though this process is extremely elusive as no one believes that it is actually a guitar. I assure you that it is.

anyone have any suggestions for producing a similar vocal effect in this song. i know it involves a ring mod but i dont know anything further than that.

but how do I set up the inputs in logic so that it is recording Live?

I'm new to Logic and this is probably a dumb question but I can't figure it out. How do I directly record the audio my computer (soundcard) creates. For example I want to record a performance in Ableton Live played on the same computer that Logic is installed on. Hopefully this is as simple as it sounds. p.s. tried searching but had no idea what to search for that didn't return a lot of useless posts
