  1. Hi Have a look at this wrapper ... 32Lives http://www.soundradix.com/products/32-lives I've used it to get my Liquidmix working again on Logic X and it makes a host of other 32 bit plugins work on LogicX too. N
  2. I really appreciate your prompt response. Any chance you might be aware of a web article that might explain why this is the case. I have been surfing but finding it difficult to get an explanation. If not no worries ... will experiment tonight. Neal
  3. I have Logic 9.0.2 on an iMac with a TC Electronics Studio Konnekt 48. For additional analogue inputs I use an Alesis AI-3. I recently recorded a band using the ADAT inputs. Listening back I get sporadic clicks which appears on all tracks which I did not hear on recording. I believe it might be my digital clock setting. On the session I had it set to internal on the SK48. In Logic I record at 24bit 44kHz. The Alesis's spec says it is a 20bit 128 times oversample. I am a bit confused regarding setting the clock e.g. internal, wordclock, ADAT etc and usually just leave it on internal. Most of the time I use the SK48 inputs only and do not get this issue. If using the ADAT only should I set this as the master clock, what happens if I use ADAT + SK48. I did notice, that when trying to work this out that the SK48 does lock to the ADAT which is indicated on the front panel. i.e a solid orange LED when the clock is set to internal. This then lead me to think that as the Alesis is 20bit ... should I set my session to 16bit and not 24bit? Does it matter? Thanks in advance for any help in this. Neal
  4. Thanks David. Thought it might be a long shot. Neal P.S. Passed my LogicPro Level 1 exam recently. Your book was excellent. Thanks again.
  5. I'm doing a sound design piece for a video clip. I have marked the scenes and added notes to indicate the sounds and transitions I need etc. It would be useful to be able to print these out in list form. eg Position / Marker Name / Marker note Can this be done? Thanks Neal
  6. Hi All. I am a student studying Creative Sound Design. I am completing a project requiring dialogue/foley to sound like it is behind a wall. I have sort of got it but it lead to this question. Are there any 3rd party plug ins to asssit with this. In particular Occlusions - defining and processing the characterisitics of the audio through a particular material such as a brick wall, wooden wall etc. Creative Labs integrate this in their EAX gaming platforms for their PC sound cards. I am relativley new to Logic having recently converted from Cubase. Or does anyone have any tips in achieving this with the Logic presets. Any online tutorials you may have spotted etc. Thanks..
